There are certainly others, but I’ve been documenting Pastor Jurgen Matthesius of Awaken Church. (e.g. https://youtu.be/CdA1_3v7H7o )It is evangelical prosperity gospel. I have two friends (early 40s w/ 3 kids) that got involved with this church and are now in serious debt and owe the IRS $90k. It also appears to be connected to the NAR (New Apostolic Reformation). It feels like they are trying to hijack the evangelical Christians to get behind this wildly unpopular and consequential war in Iran. Is anyone else coming in contact with this kind of highly politicized, pro war messaging in their church?

I am not sure, I can’t say I have noticed it not, because I don’t attend to one currently but that would be weird definitely red flag and would stink like wolf in lamb clothes if pastors/church leaders just suddenly started endorsing current wars

Not church but my parents watch Christian television programming called Christian Broadcast Network (CBN) daily. They seem to do some good mission work with Operation Blessing and their Superbook program for kids, but they are full on backing this war. Also prosperity gosepel. Isn’t it funny how the whole Christian Zionism thing and Prosperity Gospel so often go hand-in-hand. Not always, but very commonly. I’m glad I moved to a church where they pray for peace

In the old testament, God told David and the Israelites to kill other groups of people because those groups were sleeping with fallen angels and producing Nephilim. They were hybrids essentially. Then God sent the flood to wipe out the Nephilim from the face of the Earth. However, the seed of man and the seed of the serpent are being mixed again via vaccines, recombinant dna, women sleeping with demons, etc.
Jesus said to preach the gospel to every creature because we can all be saved regardless of our heritage. However, people who claim to be Jews enjoy saying that everyone else can’t be saved because they are not chosen people. For example, God told the Israelites to kill the Amalekites but now we are told that Netanyahu is Amalek.
Deuteronomy 25:19 Therefore it shall be, when the Lord your God has given you rest from your enemies all around, in the land which the Lord your God is giving you to possess as an inheritance, that you will blot out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven. You shall not forget.
At this point, if Jews and people claiming to be Jews kill each other and everyone else then it’s possible that nobody would survive. The Jews and those claiming to be Jews and everyone else reap what they sow.
Now seems to be the time to preach the gospel to every creature because Christ is the way, the truth and the life. According to Christ, anybody can be saved if they accept his sacrifice their sins.
Deuteronomy 30:19 “I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you today that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing. Therefore choose life, so that you and your descendants may live.”
