Churches today

While this video is about the rise of evangelicalism in France, I thought I’d make a thread about it because the topic seems to be universal. I wish Chistophe Monnot had spoke more because I appreciate his concern about “sound doctrine” as many churches in the day and age do what’s trendy.

I truly enjoy listening to this channel below as I find it biblically sound. I’ve shared this video with some friends and colleagues and thankfully, and from the feedback, I’ve received, it appears to give them a healthier perspective with what churches should be preaching:

Christ, while He was here in the body of Jesus, very plainly stated that only heathens and hypocrites go to church, so they can be seen by others.

Matthew 6:5-8
6:5 And when thou prayest, thou shalt NOT be as the hypocrites [ARE]: for they love to pray standing in the churches and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward (they have been seen by men, but God will not answer them).
6:6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and WHEN THOU HAST SHUT THY DOOR, pray to thy Father in private (Enoch 56:5; Sura 7:55); and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly (by answering you).
6:7 But when ye pray, use NOT vain repetitions, as the heathen [DO]: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
6:8 Be NOT ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, BEFORE ye ask Him.

Of course the Koran/Quran tells everyone the same thing.

Sura 4:142. The Hypocrites - they think they are over-reaching God, but He will over-reach them: when they stand up to prayer, they stand without earnestness, to be seen by men (Matt. 6:5), only little do they hold God in remembrance;

Sura 7:55. Call on your Lord with HUMILITY and in PRIVATE (Enoch 56:5; Matt. 6:6): for “I AM” loveth not those who trespass beyond bounds.

Sura 9:107-111
9:107. And there are those who put up mosques (churches; synagogues; etc.), by way of mischief and BETRAYAL - to disunite the Believers - and in preparation for one who warred against “I AM” (Revelation 12:7) and His Messenger aforetime. They will indeed swear that their intention is nothing but good; but “I AM” doth declare that they are certainly LIARS.
9:108. NEVER stand thou forth therein. There is an Holy Place (Mt. Moriah) whose foundation was laid from the first day on piety; it is more worthy of the standing forth (for prayer) therein. In it are men who love to be purified; and “I AM” loveth those who make themselves pure.
9:109. Which then is best? - he that layeth his foundation on piety (a Rock - Matthew 7:24-27) to “I AM” and His Good Pleasure? - or he that layeth his foundation on an undermined sand-cliff ready to crumble to pieces? And it doth crumble to pieces with him, into The Fire of Hell. And “I AM” guideth not people that do wrong (if they are doing wrong Satan is guiding them).
9:110. The foundation of those who so build is never free from suspicion and shakiness in their hearts, until their hearts are cut to pieces. And “I AM” is All-Knowing, Wise.
9:111. “I AM” hath purchased from the Believers their persons and their goods; for theirs (in return) is The Garden (of Bliss): they fight in His Cause, and slay and are slain: a promise binding on Him in Truth, through The Law (The Torah), The Gospel (New Testament/Covenant), and The Koran: and who is more faithful to His Covenant (in the Bible) than “I AM”? Then rejoice in the bargain which ye have concluded (to fulfill The Covenant of “I AM” written in the Bible): that is the achievement supreme.

When will we do as we’ve been COMMANDED to do for our own individual and collective benefit?

@AFreeman Great article :+1:

We have been warned for thousands of years NOT to go to churches, synagogues, mosques, or any other man-made temple (Matt. 6:5-8; Sura 4:142; Sura 7:55; Sura 9:107-111). Why? Because they are ALL satanic places of business where God does NOT dwell (Acts 7:48, Acts 17:24).

Religions take a spoonful of truth (God’s Word) and mix it with a bunch of lies, to create an enticing elixir, designed to poison our minds and waste what precious little time we have left.

I don’t think all Churches are evil, but I do have some reservations with the Churches.

Firstly, the Churches are run like corporations making each denomination feel like a stagnant part of a chain. If you had a Big Mac from one McDonald’s then you kind have seen what every McDonald’s has to offer.

Secondly, I don’t feel the Churches lie but they do cherry pick their favorite verses and teachings. Only really focusing on certain parts of the Bible, ignoring a lot the Bible.

Lastly, I find a lot of preaching to be elementary and not very deep. It is really easy to plateau spiritually while in the Church. I think the Churches are a starting point on seeking God, not intended as a final destination on the path to seeking God.

ALL churches LIE. ALL priests, pastors, etc. LIE and teach others LIES. The same goes for every synagogue, mosque, temple, etc., and every rabbi, preacher, imam, etc.

There are absolutely NO exceptions.

The difficulty is that these LIES have now been institutionalized and accepted by the spiritually-blind masses as truth.

NOWHERE in the Old Covenant/Testament, New Covenant/Testament or in the Koran/Quran does it instruct anyone to go to one of these evil places of business, so they can be programmed to see everything upside down and backwards. In fact, the churches, synagogues, mosques, temples, etc. and their priests, pastors, rabbis and imams, etc. are repeatedly CONDEMNED throughout.

This message of Truth has been passed on by every Prophet and by Christ Himself, The Messenger/Word of God.

It was the evil organized religion of its time (Talmudic Judaism) and their leaders (the Sanhedrin) that manipulated the Roman government into crucifying Jesus, who was innocent of any wrongdoing. How obvious does it need to be that these people do NOT work for God? How many more examples of religious wars, ethnic and religious cleansing, pedophile priests, etc., and greedy evil money-making non-prophet organizations will it take before people get it?

2000 years later and people are STILL mesmerized by church and state, which are two-heads of the same satanic beast system designed to steal from, impoverish and enslave we the people.

There isn’t one single corporate fictional organized religion that abides by Scripture. They ALL teach their pack of lies, religious rites, rituals and superstitious nonsense to their unwitting(?) customers, while leading all of them astray TO THEIR DESTRUCTION, exactly as we’ve been warned for thousands of years.

Isaiah 3:12 [As for] My people, children [are] their oppressors, and women rule over them. O My people, they which lead thee cause [thee] to err, and lead thee astray, TO THY DESTRUCTION.

Anyone who is still stubbornly refusing to come out of their corporate fictional organized religion on the Last Day will find themselves in The Fire, exactly as we’ve been repeatedly warned.

Revelation 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, COME OUT of her, MY people, that ye take not part in her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues (punishment).

Revelation 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and ALL LIARS, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with Fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

What is a two-headed eagle?

Masonic double-headed eagle :down_arrow:

The Russian state emblem is closely related to the civilization and state of TARTARIA. Completely erased, forgotten.

Holy Roman Empire :down_arrow:

The double-headed eagle symbolized temporal and religious power over the world.
All-powerful royal rule over both the east and the west.

To hide the real meaning, we call it the two-headed eagle.
In reality, there can only be one meaning for this symbol,
It is mythical :down_arrow:

Agreed about the two-headed eagle being mythical. It’s also symbolic of the cognitive dissonance and mental instability it promotes.

Cognitive dissonance is attempting to hold two conflicting views in one’s mind at the same time. A very simple example of this, and how widespread it is, would be the conundrum of being a “sinner” and a good person at the same time.

A sinner, by definition, is a criminal (1 John 3:4) , i.e. someone who does evil to others. How could someone who does evil ever believe that they are a good person, unless they are delusional? And yet this “good-fella” designation is even routinely assigned to the dredges of society, e.g. attorneys, politicians, priests, pastors, rabbis, imams, etc. as if everyone has forgotten that SCUM RISES TO THE TOP (Isa. 3:12; Matt. 23; Sura 42:42).

Cognitive dissonance defined in Scripture:

James 1:8 A double minded man [is] UNSTABLE in ALL his ways.

Thank-you. They’re both mythical, and both wishful thinking.

The two-headed eagle is supposed to symbolize God-like power and God-like authority (being able to see both the past and the future), which no satanic, earthly kingdom will ever have.

Matthew 6:13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For THINE is The Kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

The Phoenix is supposed to symbolize renewal, rebirth, and immortality in the physical sense, where the Phoenix rises from its ashes after being consumed by flames. Again something that will never happen.

Malachi 4

4:1 For, behold, the Day cometh, that shall burn like an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the “I AM” Lord of hosts, that it shall leave of them neither root (spirit/soul) nor branch (human body - leaving nothing).
4:2 But unto you that fear My name shall the Sun of Righteousness (Kofks - John 8:3; Heb. 6:20-7:4) arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.
4:3 And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in The Day that I shall do [this], saith the “I AM” Lord of hosts.
4:4 Remember ye and return to The Law of Moses My servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, [with] the Statutes and Judgments.
4:5 Behold, I will send you EliJAH the Prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful Day of the “I AM” (Sura 43:61):
4:6 And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.

Revelation 20:12-15

20:12 And I saw the “Dead”, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another Book was opened, which is [the Book] of Life: and the “Dead” were judged out of those things which were written in the Books, according to their works.
20:13 And the “sea” gave up the “Dead” which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their WORKS.
20:14 And death and hell were cast into the “Lake of Fire”. This is the second death (the death of the spirit-Being/Soul).
20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the “Lake of Fire”.

The only way to rise, is to avoid The Fire. And the only way to do that, is to return to The Law God gave us to protect us from all of this evil and to set and keep us free. Free from human governments, free from satanic churches, etc. and free from all of their unlawful, made-up rules, legislation, policies, “codes”, rites, rituals and superstitions, etc.

There’s no other way to truly proclaim Liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof.

I agree, it’s not all churches but there are quite a number of them that have deceived many.

Below is a video of a guy who was potentially going to shoot up a church because, according to him, they told him if he pays tithes to it, and his life doesn’t improve, he’ll get a full refund:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EExGSX77Fds

Granted, after watching the video, the guy seems to have some mental health issues (and was sentenced to 25 years), but how anyone thinks the Heavenly Father works the way the church is implying is baffling.

A while ago, Hugo also created a video exposing Russell Brand with Palantir’s Hallow prayer app:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rv2AcGJAhkE&t=1779s

The likes of Jim Caviezel and Mark Wahlberg are promoting it, which shows who their allegiance is with.

In the end, many churches quote scripture, much like satan can, but are they spreading the gospel? It’s one thing to know the Heavenly Father, but it’s another to obey Him and walk alongside Jesus. Jesus said in John 14:15:

“If ye love me, keep my commandments.“

Where are the churches that are preaching this and talking about repentance and transformation? Where is the alignment with the Heavenly Father? The seven deadly sins appear to be at all time high and yet churches, especially western countries, don’t seem to be acknowledge this.

The video I posted from Peace and Promise is from a pastor as he mentions it in some of his videos. He sounds like an older gentleman because sometimes there are snippets of his normal voice despite the fact he uses a voice disguiser app. That said, he seems to have a tremendous amount of wealth of spiritual and biblical knowledge. It makes me wonder if his in-person ministry slowly diminished because it was too deep for the shallow and callow world we live in today as you’ve stated and/or maybe because he felt he could reach more people online than at a physical church.

It’s nice to see the megachurches are finally beginning to collapse:

I’m grieved to read some here having such a harsh view against Christ’s church. Yes, there are false brethren and apostate churches, but Jesus Himself promised in Matt 16:18, “I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” There is a remnant, chosen by grace, even as Elijah was encouraged. We cannot forsake the assembling together. We must worship God together and love one another, and God expects we primarily do that together through local churches which make up the universal church across the world and its generations.

The OP is right that sound doctrine is necessary for a church to be healthy. I am encouraged that the apostles had to deal with false doctrine and sin within the churches, too. They did not have a golden age with no problems. Paul uses the term “sound doctrine” repeatedly in his letters to fellow workers, Timothy and Titus, who were sent to appoint godly leaders and correct the errors brewing in Ephesus and Crete.

We today need to not forsake gathering together, but in love speak the truth one to another so the body of Christ is built up (Eph 4:15).
