Of course you can read every number in the bible as a literal fact. But then you are missing out of the deeper meanings of the numbers used. In our modern times we think believing in something is believing in that something happened. Of course Jesus really existed, and he walked upon water and he rose out of the grave. But we have to believe in the meaning of all these things. If your wive or husband or anyone you love gives you a hug, then of course the hugging took place, it was real, but we have to believe in the meaning of the hug or the kiss. The hug or the kiss only expressed something deeper, something invisible. This invisible uses images to express itself. Jesus is the expression of God in the flesh.
There are lots of numbers in the bible that convey a meaning rather than a literal number. When Jesus fed 5000 people. I don’t think someone counted everyone, I don’t even think that has meaning in itself. Why would they count the people? When David counted the people it was a sin, Satan moved David to count the people. In our culture we also count everything, which is a sin. We rely on statistics and think there is order in statistics, we want to controll reality with it. The number 5000, like the number 5 and 500 represent the new world. Noah was 500 when the flood happened.
The number 4 is the outer limit of our world. In Genesis 2 there is a mist coming from the ground. In Hebrew this word for mist is ED (Aleph - Daleth = 1 - 4).
Then out of this mist God creates Adam (Aleph - Daleth - Mem = 1-4-40)
Then God sets Adam in the garden of Eden where the Tree of Knowledgde of Good and Evil is and the Tree of Life.
The Tree of Life = Ets Ha Chajim (in Hebrew) with a total worth of 233

What we see is that God chooses to go with us here on earth. He divides himself in the Toldoth to unite us again in his Name. He does this out of love, he loves us so much, that’s why he chose to become Flesh. In the Old Testament the generation through which he comes in Flesh is set. I summarise things which are difficult to summarize. Many things seem vague at first. But the more you look into the numbers, the more you see that the numbers convey much more than a literal meaning, because the literal meaning is futile to the deeper meaning.

At this point I believe the Flat Earth community could be controlled managed opposition against the Heliocentric model. I know it sounds odd to be controlled opposition against a popular mainstream viewpoint but they do like to be in control of all sides.

Imagine all the space agencies don’t exist, there is no NASA, no ESA, no Space X etc. What would be your arguments for a flat earth in that case? Now it seems all your arguments follow from: NASA is lying, therefore the earth is flat. So if NASA didn’t exist, your argument for flat earth is vanished? Ya know paulo - if I, or another bunch of people give you answers to your questions, it’s no different to watching MSM to get information on the realm you inhabit. Yes and there is another camera filming his (Felix Baumgartner) exit from behind him and this one doesn’t have the fisheye - the view from this other camera shows the horizon to be flat and at eye level - which is absolutely impossible if the earth is a ball covered mostly in curved water. The other thing about this jump was that the alleged earth spin at his jump latitude should have made him land way to the WEST of his start point ….unfortunately for the the ballers, he actually landed EAST of the start point. Since this archaic, demonstrably errant view that the Earth is allegedly flat was exhumed with deceitful videos and a deceitful book by the habitual liar Eric Dubay, numerous false claims about the sun and about Antarctica have been adamantly recirculated ad nauseam by “FEers”. And that includes the LIE that it’s allegedly impossible for there to be a midnight sun in Antarctica during the height of the summer season in the southern hemisphere (around mid November - early January, when the sun never rises in the Arctic).
In fact, there were numerous false claims made by “Flat Earthers” for years that no civilian could even visit Antarctica. Both of these false claims as of a year ago have been exposed in The “Final Experiment”, where several prominent proponents of the flat Earth attended. Where is the antarctic wall in these drawings? Why are these drawings accepted by the Flat Earth community while CGI pictures by NASA are declined? Why is it possible for me to believe in God and that Jesus is risen and at the same time consider the heliocentric model as being true? Do you think that one has to go to hell if he believes the earth is a globe? Is this somehow the essence of christianity?
When I read all those bible verses I fail to read them as scientific statements.
Most flat earthers say: do your own research. And I did. My conclusion is that flat earthers have weak evidence apart from certain bible interpretations. I have seen many videos where boats dip beind the horizon. In some flat earth evidence pictures you can clearly see that the bottom of certain buildings are blocked by the horizon. The most ridiculous thing to me is that why does a helicopter has to fly somewhere? the helicopter can just hover and the earth will rotate underneath, right? Throw a ball in a driving car and it will move with the same speed as the car, it won’t fly to the back. Most flat earthers seem a bit childish to me, I don’t want to insult you. In the end I don’t really care what someone believes or. thinks about the shape of the earth, as long as people arent ill willed.

I don’t. I think you’re controlled opposition because you’re a no-planer and a flat-earther in the first place. That combination has always screamed “poison the well” to me.
The math on flat-earth issues doesn’t work, and the theory itself is very bad from a scientific standpoint, whereas spherical planets explain a vast great number of the phenomena we experience in Earth incredibly well - from orbital distance and axial tilt explaining the behavior of the seasons to lunar behavior explaining the tides to our current eight-planet model (sorry, Pluto!) explaining the way several major “stars” are actually our planetary neighbors in the Solar System and thus how they move through the sky.
Flat-earth theory can’t really explain anything. But it’s very good at explaining at making people who are bad at math think because that the horizon line doesn’t APPEAR to human eyes to curve, that somehow we’re on a flat surface.
Most flerfers are bad at math, and in particular lack a fundamental understanding of several mathematical issues. One of them is perspective - godrays make much more sense to those with artistic training in perspective and the mathematics behind it. Another is the sheer immensity of Earth compared to a human - I regularly see flat earth “diagrams” where the world is literally only about the size of a city park.
If I have time, I’ll dig out some old diagrams I made explaining why flerf theory doesn’t work.
In the meantime, once again - you can prove your wild claims simply by heading to the oceans around South America and southern Africa, and showing that they are 10x their currently-understood-by-science scale or more. Remember, basic mathematics says that as a circle’s radius gets bigger, its surface area increases exponentially. So if the Earth is flat, you can prove it simply by chartering a boat for a scientific expedition down there to explore the vast great Southern Ocean predicted by your theory.
I don’t think that Southern Ocean exists, and moreover, I really don’t think you have any interest in trying to prove it does - because that’s hard, whereas being bad at math as you troll on the Internet is easy, “Kidkip”.
