According to “Islamic” tradition, Ramadan (also rendered as Ramadhan, Ramazan, Ramzan and Ramathan) is the ninth (9th) and most revered month of the “Islamic” lunar-based calendar year. Ramadan is observed by “Muslims” throughout the world as a month of fasting (sawm) during daylight hours, and is considered to be one of the five “pillars” that make up the organized religion that calls itself “Islam”.
Ramadan traditionally lasts 29-30 days, from one sighting of the crescent moon to the next, and involves obligatory fasting from sunrise to sunset. People found publicly eating during daylight hours are routinely arrested in some countries, where this tradition is physically enforced.
Sura 2:256. Let there be NO compulsion in religion: Truth stands out clear from Error: whoever rejects Evil and believes God hath grasped the most trustworthy hand-hold, that never breaks. And God heareth and knoweth all things.
There are at least five questions that every true Muslim should be asking about this religious ritual that has become one of the five foundational “pillars” of “Islam”:
1) Where in the Koran (Quran) does it specify a lunar-based calendar or establish the names of the alleged lunar months of the year?
2) Where in the Koran does it specify Ramadan is the ninth month of a lunar-based year or how the month of Ramadan is to be observed? The latter would need to include a description of the crescent moon cycle, how and why it determines the period of fasting, and any other details required to make the instructions for this so-called pillar perfectly clear and easy to understand (Sura 41:3).
3) Where in the Koran does it specifically tell us that Muhammad, or any of the Apostles or Prophets that came before Muhammad (in the Bible – Sura 3:144) observed Ramadan?
4) According to God, the Koran was sent to confirm The Law and the Gospel that came before it (Sura 2:97-98; 3:1-3; 4:47; 5:51; 6:92-94; 6:154-157; 10:37; 12:111; 22:52; 35:31; 46:12; 61:6-7), so where do we find mention of Ramadan in The Book (Bible) that God sent down from heaven with His Criterion for determining right from wrong (Sura 2:53)?
5) Did the term “Ramadan” actually appear in the true original Koran that God sent down via Gabriel to Muhammad?
The answer to questions 1, 2, 3 and 4 above is nowhere. Nowhere in the Koran (Quran) is there any mention of a lunar-based calendar, nor of the names of any months, nor are there any specific instructions on how the supposed month of Ramadan is to be observed, nor is there any mention of Muhammad ever observing the month of Ramadan. Similarly, nowhere in the Bible do we find the term “Ramadan” nor any of the Apostles or Prophets observing it. We do, however find divine condemnation of such pagan practices (e.g. Isaiah 1:13-18; Acts 5:29).
And the answer to question number 5, which may come as a shock to so-called Muslims, is a resounding “NO”. The term “Ramadan” was NOT in the true original Koran that God sent down via Gabriel to Muhammad, according to the Koran itself.
Apparently, the U.S. and Israelis have launched their attack this Sabbath day, as many have anticipated (and as questioned in the article linked in the OP).

"And the moon—We have determined for it phases, until it returns [appearing] like the old dried date stalk." (Ya-Sin, 36:39)
2. Establishment of the 12 Months and the Lunar Cycle
The number of months and the utility of the crescent moon are clearly defined:
"Indeed, the number of months with Allah is twelve [lunar] months in the register of Allah [from] the day He created the heavens and the earth…" (At-Tawbah, 9:36)
"They ask you, [O Muhammad], about the new moons. Say, ‘They are measurements of time for the people and for Hajj.’" (Al-Baqara, 2:189)
3. The Significance of Ramadan and Fasting
Ramadan is the only month explicitly named in the Quran. Its importance is tied to the revelation of the Holy Book and the obligation of fasting:
"The month of Ramadhan [is that] in which was revealed the Qur’an, a guidance for the people and clear proofs of guidance and criterion. So whoever sights [the new moon of] the month, let him fast it…" (Al-Baqara, 2:185)

4. Regarding the Bible and Previous Revelations
The claim that one must find “Ramadan” in the Bible to validate the Quran is logically flawed. 5. On the Authenticity of the Term “Ramadan”
The term “Ramadan” appears directly in the Quran (Al-Baqara, 2:185). This is the original text as revealed to Prophet Muhammad via the Angel Gabriel. To suggest it was not in the “original” is a claim without historical or manuscript evidence, as the Quranic tradition has been preserved through both rigorous oral memorization and written records since its inception.
Debunking the “It’s Not in the Bible” Argument

In Summary: Regardless of being Sunni or Shia, the Surah Al-Fatiha or Surah Al-Baqarah read by everyone in the Muslim world is identical in word order and content. When comparing 1,400-year-old manuscripts (like those in Sana’a, Birmingham, or Topkapi) with the Mushaf in your hand today, the only “differences” found are stylistic variations in writing due to the lack of dots and vowel marks in early Arabic script.
Accepting a mistake brought by the messenger instead of scrutinizing the news itself is a mental gamble.

Note: God gave us His Holy Calendar in the Book of Enoch, and confirmed it in His Law, found only in the first five books of the Bible, namely: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy. And it is very clearly a SOLAR (Sun-centered) calendar. As it says in Sura 18:26, God knows best.
God has ONE calendar, and that calendar is logically and spiritually based upon a SOLAR year. God isn’t the author of confusion; Satan/Iblis is (1 Cor. 14:33).

Yes, however neither of these verses indicate we should be keeping time on a lunar calendar either, nor do any of the verses/ayats you’ve shared name the months of the year.
If you would have taken the time to read the article in the opening post, instead of regurgitating Islamic folklore, you may have noticed why Sura 9:36 does NOT infer any lunar calendar, but instead specifically calls out the four sacred months that are called out in The Law for the feasts of the “I AM” (Allah/The God).
Sura 9:36. The number of months in the sight of “I AM” is twelve* (in a year)- so ordained by Him the day He created the heavens and the Earth; of them, four are sacred: that is the straight usage. So wrong not yourselves therein, and fight the Pagans all together as they fight you all together. But know that “I AM” is with those who restrain themselves.

The Holy Calendar God gave us is NOT governed by the lesser (reflected) light of the moon (Gen. 1:16); it is a solar calendar based on the greater, life-giving light and warmth of the sun, so that the months, seasons and His F(e)asts, occur at the very same time every year.
The word Ramadan is derived from the Arabic root R-M-Ḍ (ر-مض), which means “scorching heat”, according to multiple sources.

So every one of you who is present (at his home) during that period should spend it in fasting (Matthew 6:1-18), but if any one is ill, or on a journey, the prescribed period (should be made up) by days later. God intends every facility for you; He does not want to put you to difficulties. (He wants you) to complete the prescribed period, and to glorify Him in that He has guided you; and perhaps ye shall be grateful.
2:186. When My servants ask thee concerning Me, I am indeed close (to them): I listen to the prayer of every supplicant when he calleth on Me: let them also, with a will, listen to My call, and believe Me: that they may walk in The Right Way.
2:187. Permitted to you, on the night of the fasts, is the approach to your wives. They are your garments and ye are their garments. God knoweth what ye used to do secretly among yourselves, but He turned to you and forgave you; so now associate with them, and seek what God hath ordained for you, and eat and drink, until the white thread of dawn appears to you distinct from its black thread; then complete your fast till the night appears; but do not associate with your wives while ye are in retreat for prayer. Which was very obviously ADDED to the Quran, as it didn’t appear in the original text, doesn’t match its context, and is obviously INCONSISTENT with the rest of Scripture (see: Sura 39:23).
Agreed. In God’s Law it very plainly prescribes the f(e)asts scheduled three times a year, when HIS Law was read to everyone during the day, while they fasted.

Deuteronomy 19:15 One witness shall NOT rise up against a man for any iniquity, or for any sin, in any sin that he sinneth: at the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses, shall the matter be established.
And confirmation of The Law in the Quran:
Sura 39:23. “I AM” has revealed (from time to time) the most beautiful Message in the form of a Book, CONSISTENT WITH ITSELF, (yet) repeating (its teaching in various aspects): the skins of those who fear their Lord tremble thereat; then their skins and their hearts do soften to the celebration of “I AM”'s praises (Prov. 1:7; 9:10). Such is the Guidance from “I AM”: He guides therewith whom He pleases, but such as “I AM” leaves to stray, can have none to guide.
The fact that the words “the month of Ramadhan” only occur ONE time in the Quran is a dead give-away that pagan festival was added, as it is INCONSISTENT with EVERYTHING else in the Quran and in previous Scripture (the Old Covenant/Testament and the New Covenant/Testament).
Of course God Himself has explained in His Holy Quran not only that we should expect these minor alterations to have taken place, but why He allows them (to test the hard-hearted - Sura 22:52-55).
And where was fasting decreed upon those before?
As above please. There is no flaw in logic in looking to the Holy Bible and its historical record of God’s Prophets for evidence of any reference to “Ramadhan” or “the month of Ramadhan” or any other fasting period in Scripture that equates to a lunar cycle or 29-30 days.
Conversely, it is totally illogical to assume that there was a fast called “the month of Ramadhan”, that ***“***was prescribed to those before you” without any mention ANYWHERE in the Bible or the Quran of ANY of the 24 Prophets that came before the Quran speaking about it or doing it. There isn’t even a reference in the Quran to Muhammad engaging in the pagan month long festival of “Ramadhan” that God CONDEMNED over 1000 years before the Quran was written (Isaiah 1:13-18).
Moses fasted for 40 days with water only (not stuffing his face all night long), as did Jesus, to bring the human into submission to the spirit-Being (soul/jinn) within. And Christ-Jesus is THE Example that should be followed, as it plainly states in both the Bible AND the Quran.
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am The Way, the Truth, and the Life: NOT one man cometh unto the Father, EXCEPT by me.
Sura 3:55. Behold! God said: "O Jesus! The Quran not only confirms that the Law and the Gospel, but instructs all readers of the Quran that they MUST read, study and put them into practice, and to NOT BE IN DOUBT of their veracity, because they have been guarded against corruption, just as ALL Scripture has been.

15:9. We have, without doubt, sent down the Message; and We will assuredly guard it (from corruption).
15:10. We did send Apostles before thee amongst the religious sects (John 17:21; Sura 6:159) of old:
Sura 32:23. We did indeed aforetime give The Book (The Torah) to Moses: be then NOT IN DOUBT of its (The Torah) reaching (THEE): and We made it a Guide to the Children of Israel.

When the Quran is properly transcribed, translated and understood, it not only confirms the Bible but is in perfect agreement with it. Who could do more wrong than to reject such clear signs from God and His Word?
Sura 3:1-3
3:1. A. L. M. (Almighty. Loving. Merciful.)
3:2. Allah (God). There is no God but He,- the Living, the Self-Existing (YHWH - “I AM”), Eternal.
3:3. It is He Who sent down to thee (step by step), in truth, the Koran, confirming what went before it and He sent down The Law (of Moses) and The Gospel (of Jesus) before this, as a guide to mankind, and He sent down The Criterion (of Judgment between right and wrong).
Sura 6:153-157
6:153. Verily, THIS is my way, leading straight (Matt. 7:13-14): follow it: follow not (other) ways: they will scatter you away from His (Great) Way: thus doth He command YOU, that ye may be righteous.
6:154. Moreover, We gave Moses The Book (The Torah), COMPLETING (Our favour) to those who would do right, and explaining ALL things IN DETAIL,- and a GUIDE and a MERCY, that they might believe in the meeting with their Lord.
6:155. And this (Torah) is a Book which We have revealed as a BLESSING: so follow it and be righteous, that YE may receive mercy (Sura 32:23):
6:156. Lest YE should say: “The Book (The Torah) was sent down to two Peoples before us, and for our part, we remained unacquainted with all that they learned by careful study:”
6:157. Or lest YE should say: “If The Book (The Torah) had only been sent down to US, we should have FOLLOWED its guidance BETTER than they (Sura 32:23).” Now then hath come unto YOU a clear (Sign) from your Lord,- and a GUIDE and a MERCY: then who could do MORE WRONG than one who rejecteth “I AM”'s Signs (and The Torah - Bible), and turneth away therefrom? In good time shall We requite those who turn away from Our Signs, with a dreadful penalty, for their turning away.
This is a bald-faced LIE, which finds zero secular or non-secular historical support, and which foolishly implies God (Allah) a liar and somehow powerless to prevent puny humans from corrupting HIS Word.

God’s Word has been preserved in the Old Covenant/Testament, New Covenant/Testament and the Koran/Quran, which have so much built-in redundancy they can NEVER be corrupted. They ALL have slight alterations in them, to see if the reader is genuinely seeking the Truth and thus able to recognize these things, or whether they are disobediently blindly following their satanic sects, religious superstitions and traditions, which make the Commandments of God of no effect (Matt. 15:3-9).
The original Quran wasn’t even written in Arabic; it was originally written in Aramaic (Syro-Aramaic, aka Syriac), and then later translated into the newly invented language of Arabic, at the same time and place that the Hadith was being fabricated. That’s why there are still hundreds of Aramaic words in the Quran, in what is now deceitfully referred to as the “original” Quranic text, which itself differs depending upon the sect.

As God has told us, in the Quran, the Quran has been altered, but the alterations can be easily identified due to their inconsistency with the rest of Scripture, like the singular insertion of the term “Ramadhan”.
Sura 22:52-55
22:52. NEVER did We send an Apostle or a Prophet before thee, but, when he framed a desire, Satan threw some (vanity) into his desire: but “I AM” will cancel anything (vain) that Satan throws in, and “I AM” WILL CONFIRM (AND ESTABLISH) HIS SIGNS (Sura 32:23): for “I AM” is full of Knowledge and Wisdom:

22:55. Those who reject Faith will not cease to be in doubt concerning (Revelation) until The Hour (of Judgment) comes suddenly upon them, or there comes to them the Penalty of a Day of Disaster.
Anyone who falsely claims the Koran hasn’t been altered by men is therefore calling God a liar and, in so doing, is working for Satan, to help him cover up his obvious and vain additions, unwittingly or otherwise.
One cannot call God a liar and honestly claim to be doing God’s Will (Islam in Arabic).
This has already been addressed. There’s no way to “debunk” the truth that there isn’t another reference anywhere in the Quran, nor in the Bible to “Ramadhan”, which prevents it from being “consistent” with its own context or any other Scripture.
And it is totally illogical to contradict God, infer God is a liar, and then claim to be striving to do His Will.
Except the criterion is a direct reference to the Torah (The Law) found in the Bible, as the Quran makes perfectly clear. That’s why you quoted only part of one verse, and didn’t share its context, isn’t it?

There is NOTHING in the Bible that suggests God is a 3=1 “trinity”; only people from sects/cults/denominations, etc. attempting to read that into the text where no such idea is ever present. Scripture is consistent throughout that there is only ONE God.
