Please, could you share how you understand Babylon the Great / the woman clothed with scarlet in chapter 17 of the Book of Revelation? What does it symbolise in your view? Could you recommend a presentation on the topic?

The book of Revelation is really tough to understand, and imho, itās a waste of time to try and understand unless you feel you have an anointing to do so.
Yet God promises a special blessing to those who forge through itā¦to those who read it aloud as well. This isnāt the time for timidity, but boldness.
So its not blessed are the meek they shall inherit the earth? Its hard to keep up with the changing narrative isnāt it. I wish God would make up his mind
I was responding to the title and in particular the word āInvestigatingā. I wasnāt saying that no one should read the book, aloud or otherwise, only that you will get nowhere by trying to understand it as it is not a book for the people of our time. And you kinda proved that point in your first response where you mention āthe antichristā. Nowhere in the book of revelation is the word āantichristā to be found. Of course you could say that the āantichristā is the beast or the false prophet or one of the kings, but that would purely be a guess, regardless of which box you go for.
Back to the opās original Q. Who does the woman on the beast symbolise? Well we could come up with a hundred guesses and everyone could be wrong or one might even be right, then we could all offer up a guess as to which intrepation is the right one.
So if we were to believe we are in the last days then America and the capitalist system of trade would be the Babylon system and the old Soviet Union could be the Beast with the mortal wound who will burn Babylon to the ground.
Or, still believing we are in the end times, China, in the next 2 or 3 decades, could take over the world trade system and by doing so fatally wound America who then, at a later date, will resurrect as the beast system and burn China and its Babylon system to the ground.
Or, moving on from the here and now, maybe the whites, yellows and browns will all annihilate one another in a nuclear war and the African man, seeing an opportunity, could set up the Babylon trade system and then one of the fatally wounded nations of either America, China, Soviet Union or European Union could come back, burn the African Babylon system to the ground and lead us into the new beast system.
I could go on and on but iāll leave it at that.
Btw i chose Africa because it seems to fit in more with the magic spells part of revelation, but that could also apply to ancient mesopotamia or one of the south american nations or any ancient pagan nation.
If anyone has any special insight into the opās Q i would happy if you would share it with the rest of us.

Ive read Amir Tsarfatiās interpretation and found it extremely Jewish centric, i suppose it is a Jewish story tbf to him but basically Jews good God loves em he will save them even though they were naughty / Goyim bad God hates em and will kill them all in a myriad of painful ways was his general conscientious.

The woman arrayed in purple and scarlet, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hands, etc. in Revelation 17 is very obviously the Roman Catholic church, the richest business empire on planet Earth (Matt. 6:24), headquartered in Rome, the city of seven hills/mountains.
Revelation 17:3-9
17:3 So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.
17:4 And the woman was arrayed in PURPLE (bishops) and SCARLET (cardinals) colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:
17:5 And upon her forehead [was] a name written, MYSTERY (2 Thess. 2:7), BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS (her daughters) AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.

The woman in that chapter sits on the beast with tens horns. The beast is supposed to be the one world government and the ten horns are leaders and/or nations.
The woman is first propped up and used by the beast just to be turned on and bombed? My guess is the woman is a western establishment because of the trade and other sins that are allowed there. So maybe America, New York City, or somewhere in Western Europe.
I have a feeling this verse will be a lot more clearer in the next few years.
