Is there a discussion about it in Lat Am countries? They’re super popular artists but at the same time the countries these artists are from are much less secular than the anglosphere. It made me wonder if that has an impact because artists like bad bunny are so popular in Latam but he is also very occult. It surprises me that he can be so open about it.

Shakira was only real during her initial Spanish Era; went from unique style, original clever deep lyrics, poetic and creative even with many nostalgic and spiritual innuendos, real instrumental orquesta, to doing an English crossover, replacing her entire old persona, with a new trash cheap simple urban Reggaeton repetitive overly sexual mainstream vulgar generic radio formula. What the heck happened to this woman??? Someone fired her original music band team and replaced it all with generic fast trash production? So she never had any control of her music at all? it’s like they replaced her with an entirely different persona.
Her spanish music was so good that the latin and Caribbean radio stations played her 24/7 and everybody, kids, men, women, single, conservative, poor rich everyone loved her, Nobody complained when she was playing on the radio. Then after a few massive Spanish albums, she did the English american album and changed

A lot of other craziness in this video. There is a fat gluttonous Eve woofing down apples. Also have the people upside down in the ground. This was found in Dante’s Inferno where the people who committed simony(financial sins in the church) would suffer this fate. Finally you have a Jacob’s ladder that Shakira is on during the video. Jacob’s ladder is a Masonic thing. Jacob is the heel bitter or snake and he is climbing the ladder of enlightenment. Some Lucifer/snake self enlightenment symbolism.

This was not even her original video, the first official video had her just dancing around a Pool and she was having so much fun and smiling. Then The Freaking industry made her change everything, they made her wear this gothic costumes and makeup, and added so much imagery, it’s like someone suddenly took control of all her production

it’s funny because when I was in Middle school my favorite artists were Shakira and Belinda completely obsessed, and now I sort of can’t stand them. Their new music, the current lyrics, their personality and whole aesthetic just seems so overwhelmingly fake and very “pick me” attitude and their grown ass women acting like highschoolers like they can’t read the room they stuck in 2009
