As you’ll quickly notice, these forums are full of modern and cutting-edge features that make posting, browsing, and communicating with other members easy and enjoyable. You can even install the VCF app for convenient access on mobile devices.
In the past months, many of you asked about the forums that unexpectedly went offline in January. The short answer is that the old forums’ (very) outdated software failed to run on the new servers I moved all my sites to.
After frustrating attempts to fix the old forum’s multiple issues and salvage its data, it became obvious that the best long-term solution would be to rebuild the forums from the ground up using modern software.
I realize that the abrupt shutting down of the old forums caught many of you off guard (including me), and the loss of thousands of posts was upsetting. Hopefully, these new forums will provide a much better experience, as all issues regarding bots, spam, software updates, and user registrations will be handled much more efficiently.
Since this is all brand new, some tweaking still needs to be done. Please report issues and make suggestions in the Site Feedback section.

As you browse the site and participate in discussions, more options will become available, such as editing posts, sending private messages, sending group messages, and more. You will receive a notification every time this happens.
