As explained in this post, I wasn’t planning on shutting down the old forum. It broke when I moved all my sites to new servers because the software was outdated. I realize many people devoted time to it, so I tried debugging it, patching it, and importing it to a new platform. When nothing worked, I started looking into modern forum software that would be futureproof while improving everything I felt was lacking in the previous one.
I didn’t make an announcement about the forum because I had been unsure for a long time how I would fix the situation. As soon as I got this new forum up and running, I announced it everywhere.
VC is not registered as a business, so I don’t know what you’re looking at. Obviously, I’m not located in the IRS Federal building. I tried searching my site on ChatGPT and got this, which is the correct answer.
There is no publicly listed street or mailing address for The Vigilant Citizen that I could find in the usual public places.
The real question is: Why are you looking for my physical address?
Finally, I am a single person working on the site. If there were a team, each team member would be identified. There would be no reason for me to hide it. I guess I should take it as a compliment, but it’s not like the site churns out multiple articles per day. I publish about four articles per month, which is pretty much the output of one person. Furthermore, my writing style is distinctive enough to confirm that I’m the only author and that is how I want it to be.
