They Sold Their Souls

About Lennon, when he wrote Imagine, he was under the handling of Yoko Ono. I’m guessing he started changing his mind during his final years. Maybe that’s why he was murdered.

I think Lennon was under Ono’s spell. She probably practices black magick.

As for Jennifer Lawrence, it does kind of look like the spark in her eyes is gone. She looks empty.

I personally think she looks more wise, but that’s just me. :slight_smile:

@Ripcord I am adopted and my birth mother was pressured by her parents to abort me. :disappointed_face:

That’s true. Most fans of the Beatles know Ono is the reason for their break-up. When someone is under a spell, the person is not himself. How odd Lennon fell “in love” with her so quickly.

Kimmers quote- “I am adopted and my birth mother was pressured by her parents to abort me. :disappointed_face:-unquote)

=================================================================

I dunno if my mother was pressured when she became preggers out of wedlock many years ago, it was such a shameful social “crime” that many women in the same boat had abortions to cover up their “guilt”, and most of their relatives, friends and neighbours would probably have said “Oh well it was for the best”, and wouldn’t have minded. But my mother had the baby, and as I was the fetus in question, I might have minded..:slight_smile:
PS- her and my dad had a shotgun wedding and were together for the rest of their lives and had another baby (a girl).
But I think my dad never really wanted to marry my mother, and in his twisted way I think he blamed ME for “making them” get married, and verbally bullied me as i grew up, especially when he’d been drinking.

@Ripcord I’m so sorry. Just know you were wanted by God. He chose you to be here. :heart:

Incidentally my brother-in-laws mother gave him up for adoption 50 years ago when he was a baby and he grew up in orphanages and with foster parents, and as far as i know he never bothered to make any attempt to trace his mother..English MP Clare Short also gave up her son for adoption as a baby, but he traced her and they became buddies..Personally if I’d been abandoned by my birth mother like that, I don’t know if I’d ever want to trace her..Would other VC members in the same boat be more forgiving than me?

At this point, the interesting thing would be to find out who is NOT compromised. I guess we will not have to count much.

There’s this song that I enjoyed called “Ordinary Day” by Vanessa Carlton, but as I began to pay more attention to the lyrics it seemed to be about her selling her soul to the devil for fame. The whole song is about her going off on an adventure with some mystery man, and it seems to be metaphorical for her making a deal with the devil. The lyrics that stand out to me in specific are “Take my hand, live while you can” and “I saw that boy standing there with a deal”. It’s also important to note that this song came out around the time when she blew up out of nowhere. The chorus of the song even sounds like the way a song would sound when played in reverse. I still like her music, but I just choose to avoid this one. Here are the lyrics of it:

@Ripcord in my situation I ended up being adopted by wonderful people that gave me a very secure and loving home. I am thankful my mother chose to give me that chance. I know not all situations are the same. But in my case my mother’s decision led to giving God a chance to turn my conception into a blessing for a couple that could not have children of their own.
