The Trinity Delusion

You don’t know what you’re talking about. The definition of “omnipotent” is ALL-POWERFUL, i.e. someone with UNLIMITED POWER. If someone has UNLIMITED POWER they very obviously CANNOT have limits on that power.

Humans, also very obviously, have LIMITED powers, e.g. they are mortal, they cannot leave this planet, they are relegated to the physical and they lack spiritual eyesight and spiritual hearing, etc. to see, hear or understand anything spiritual/supernatural.

There are arguments made, frequently by “Muslims” (i.e. adherents to the sects of “Islam”), foolishly attempting to negate the Christ’s Sacrifice on the cross. And in doing so, they expose their ignorance of Scripture, including their ignorance of the Koran/Quran.

Their argument centers around the idea that there can be no “third party sacrifice”, a term they have made up because they have no concept of the substitute animal sacrifice or “self” sacrifice, nor do they understand the difference between the spirit (a spirit-Being/Soul/Jinn) and the flesh (human).

On Judgement Day, when we are judged according to our works over the past 6000 years, as we have been repeatedly warned, no one will be able to intervene for another.

This means that the sins of a dad will NOT be placed upon the son, nor the other way around, because the Judgement on The Last Day is FINAL (Ezek. 18).

Up until the Last Day though, each of us have the opportunity to learn from our mistakes, to learn to do good to one another, and to learn the humility that precedes learning anything of true, spiritual value.

We were initially provided with substitute animal sacrifice in God’s Law (found only in the first five books of the Bible) to teach us NOT to sin (break God’s Law) and to foreshadow “self” sacrifice.

When someone’s livelihood and wealth is almost completely dependent upon their livestock, having to sacrifice their best, unblemished breeding stock affects the entire herd from that point onward. That level of sacrifice should therefore have provided the incentive to STOP SINNING/BREAKING GOD’S LAW.

When God sent the “Lamb of God” into this world, it was to teach the world about “self” sacrifice. Substitute animal sacrifice ended at the cross, and was replaced with “self” sacrifice, as is taught throughout the New Covenant/Testament and the Koran/Quran.

The “Lamb of God” is also our Teacher and our King (Matt. 23:10; Rev. 19:16). And as our Teacher and our King, He has every right to take responsibility for our actions, which is exactly what Christ did.

Under The Law that all of us have promised to keep, whether we acknowledge that fact or not (Deut. 29:9-15), we had ALL earned the death penalty (see: Deut. 28:15-68 and Rom. 6:23). So the ONLY Way that any of us could avoid CERTAIN spiritual death in The Fire on the Last Day was for God to annul the Covenant that WE had broken. And the ONLY Way to do that would be to send His Beloved Son to pay the penalty on our behalf, as our Teacher/King/Leader.

So all of this “third party sacrifice” nonsense has no basis in logic nor in fact (Scripture). It is merely another failed attempt at trying to sound “logical” when it is, in fact, totally illogical.

That one-time payment cleared all of us of our PAST sins (Rom. 3:25). What we choose to make of our renewed opportunity to STOP SINNING/BREAKING GOD’S LAW is up to each of us, but make no mistake:

THERE WILL BE NO MORE SECOND CHANCES.

The Fire awaits each unrepentant Soul, and Judgement Day will be here SOON.

Learn to do good and live; or continue to do evil and die (Deut. 30:15-20).

The choice, as always, is ours to make.

Speaking of Islam, they say that it wasn’t Jesus who was crucified, but that it was a “stunt man” who took his place..

The Sahih International is a terrible translation of the Koran/Quran into English. The Yusuf Ali is considered to be the best translation into English by most English speaking scholars.

While it’s true that the organized religion that deceitfully calls itself “Islam” teaches the LIE that Jesus wasn’t crucified, that is based upon their own ignorance of what it actually says in the Koran/Quran.

Sura 4:157-159 (King of kings’ Bible)
4:157. That they said (in boast), “We killed Christ the son of Mary, the Messenger of God”;- but they killed Christ NOT, nor crucified Christ, but so it was made to appear to them (as they crucified the human body called Jesus, that Christ the spirit-being used - Psalm 22; Isaiah 52:13 to 54:1; Zechariah 11:10-13; Matthew 27), and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no (certain) Knowledge, but only conjecture to follow, for of a surety they killed Christ not:-
4:158. Nay, God raised him up unto Himself and God is Exalted in Power, and in Wisdom;-
4:159. And, of the People of The Book, they all must believe him (Christ) before their death; and on The Day of Judgment he will be a witness against them (and you) (Surah 43:61);

Christ IS the Son of God (an immortal spiritual-Being that CANNOT be killed, except by God Himself).

Jesus WAS the son of the virgin Mary (a mortal human that very obviously could be killed and was killed, via crucifixion, exactly as it says in the Gospel accounts of Jesus.

If the crucifixion didn’t occur, as “Muslimsfalsely claim, then why did God raise Jesus from the dead in the very next verse (Sura 4:158)?

Further, every one who reads the Koran/Quran is repeatedly COMMANDED to read both The Law (Old Covenant/Testament) AND the Gospel accounts (the New Covenant/Testament) and to NOT BE IN DOUBT of their veracity.

Suras 2:53, 2:87-93, 3:1-3, 3:48-50, 4:54, 5:46-50, 6:91-92, 6:154-157, 7:157, 9:111, 11:17, 15:9-10, 17:2-4, 21:48, 23:20, 23:49, 25:35, 28:1-3, 32:23, 35:25-32, 37:117, 40:53, 40:70, 41:45, 42:14-17, 45:16, 46:12, 46:30, 48:29, 53:36-47, 57:25-29, 61:6, 78:2

And for those who may not know what the Koran/Quran states about the “trinity”, it’s only necessary to continue reading on in the same chapter.

Sura 4:163-173
4:163. We have sent thee inspiration, as We sent it to Noah and the Messengers after him: We sent inspiration to Abraham; Isaac; Jacob-Israel and the (twelve) Tribes (of Israel); to Aaron; Job; Solomon son of David; Jonah; Jesus; and to David We gave the Psalms (in the Old Covenant/Testament. Note well Psalm 22).
4:164. Of some Apostles We have already told thee the story; of others We have not;- and to Moses God spoke direct;-
4:165. Messengers who gave good news as well as warning, that mankind, after (the coming) of the Apostles, should have no plea against God: for God is Exalted in Power, and Wisdom.
4:166. But God beareth witness that what He hath sent unto thee He hath sent from His (Own) Knowledge, and the angels bear witness: but enough is God for a witness.
4:167. Those who reject Faith and obstruct (men) from The Way of God, have verily strayed far, far away from The Way (The Covenant).
4:168. Those who reject Faith and do wrong,- God will not forgive them nor guide them to any way
4:169. Except the way of Hell-Fire, to dwell therein for ever. And this to God is easy.
4:170. O Mankind! The Messenger hath come to you in truth from God: believe him: it is best for you. But if ye reject Faith, to God belong all things in the heavens and on Earth: and God is All-knowing, All-wise.
4:171. O People of The Book! Commit no excesses in your religion: nor say of God aught but the Truth. Jesus the (human) son of Mary was (no more than) an Apostle of God; and His Word (John 1:14), which He bestowed on Mary’s (human) son; was a spirit-Being (Christ) proceeding from Him (making the human+Being called Jesus+Christ): so believe God and His Apostles. Say NOT “Trinity”: DESIST: it will be better for you: for “I AM” is one God. Glory be to Him: (far exalted is He) above having a human son. To Him belong all things in the heavens and on Earth. And enough is God as a Disposer of affairs.
4:172. Christ commandeth YE to serve and worship God, so do the angels, those nearest (to God): those who scorn His worship and are arrogant,- He will gather them all together unto Himself to (answer).
4:173. But to those who believe and do deeds of righteousness, He will give their (due) rewards,- and more, out of His bounty: but those who are scornful and arrogant, He will punish with a grievous Penalty; nor will they find, besides God, any to protect or help them.

Your rebuttal reminds me of imperfect atheists. Those that try to build a logical reason for their denial of god. To achieve that they use immanent, universal logic applied to the supernatural. Universal logic is the one that pertains to THIS universe. You know, tertium non datur, either true or false, AND OR NOT XOR NAND ….

Your fatal mistake is to apply the concept of limit to God (uppercase as a sign of reverence to the concept). We do not know and probably not even begin to conceive how the process of creation took place. Therefore the safest way to model the relationship between creator and creation is: creation is an abstraction for the creator. Because it is the only one that does not need any party other than creator. If I build a car i need parts. If I dream a car I need myself.

In such a relationship, akin to a dream, god is omniscient, eternal and all powerful. Has no limits whatsoever. So again, omnipotent and can’t in the same sentence is illogical. When in the scriptures it’s written “it’s necessary” the necessity arise from a choice made by the hypothetical god. Not from any inherent limit because “inherent” and “limit” are concepts that do not transcend our universe and if they do we can’t tell.

Perhaps the most infamous addition by the RCC in their vain attempt to promote the pagan 3=1 “trinity” is the “Johannine” comma, which was ADDED to 1 John 5:7-8.

The original text for 1 John 5:6-8, before the RCC alteration (which made it into the KJV) is as follows:-

1 John 5:6-8

5:6 This is he that came by water and blood, [even] Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is Truth.
5:7 For there are three that bear record,
5:8 The Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.

The “Johannine comma” was then added around the time of the reformation, and thus sticks out like a sore thumb against thousands of earlier copies as a blatant forgery.

1 John 5:6-8 KJV (with the made-up “trinitarian” wording boldfaced)
5:6 This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth.
5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
5:8 And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.

Those who have difficulty believing this should research the subject in depth, because even those who consider themselves to be “trinitarians” don’t attempt to defend this obvious addition.

I find it completely insane that anyone would call the Trinity a “delusion. “ What’s truly delusional is rejecting it when it is clearly taught in scripture.

John chapter 1 clearly calls Jesus Christ God. V. 1 says “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” V. 14 states “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.”

Neither the word “trinity” nor the words “triune god” appear ANYWHERE in the Old and New Covenants/Testaments and yet “trinitarians” would have us believe that this is the most all-important core concept in understanding God.

This is such a foolish statement. The word “Trinity“ and “Triune“ mean “three-in-one.“ That is where Trinity comes from: “tri-unity.“ It comes directly from 1 John 5:7, which says “For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.” This is the most clear verse about the Trinity in the entire Bible.

You ought to repent from your foolish doctrine that robs Christ of his divinity.

Isaiah 9:6 “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.”

Please listen to this sermon by Pastor Steven L. Anderson that defends the deity of our Lord, Jesus Christ.

even those who consider themselves to be “trinitarians” don’t attempt to defend this obvious addition.

That’s an outright lie that proves that you haven’t researched this subject in-depth whatsoever.

Here is a list of several references to the comma made in early Christian writings:

200 AD Tertullian wrote “which three are one” based on the verse in his Against Praxeas, chapter 25.

250 AD Cyprian of Carthage, wrote, "And again, of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost it is written: “And the three are One” in his, On The Lapsed, On the Novatians, 350 AD Priscillian referred to it [Corpus Scriptorum Ecclesiasticorum Latinorum, Academia Litterarum Vindobonensis, vol. xviii, p. 6.]

350 AD Idacius Clarus referred to it [Patrologiae Cursus Completus, Series Latina by Migne, vol. 62, col. 359.]

350 AD Athanasius referred to it in his De Incarnatione

398 AD Aurelius Augustine used it to defend Trinitarianism in De Trinitate against the heresy of Sabellianism

415 AD Council of Carthage appealed to 1 John 5:7 when debating the Arian belief (Arians didn’t believe in the deity of Jesus Christ)

450-530 AD Several orthodox African writers quoted the verse when defending the doctrine of the Trinity against the gainsaying of the Vandals. These writers are: Vigilius Tapensis in “Three Witnesses in Heaven” Victor Vitensis in his Historia persecutionis [Corpus Scriptorum Ecclesiasticorum Latinorum, Academia Litterarum Vindobonensis, vol. vii, p. 60.] Fulgentius in “The Three Heavenly Witnesses” [Patrologiae Cursus Completus, Series Latina by Migne, vol. 65, col. 500.]

500 AD Cassiodorus cited it [Patrologiae Cursus Completus, Series Latina by Migne, vol. 70, col. 1373.]

The proof that even the so-called scholars, including “trinitarians” recognize that the phrasing in 1 John 5:7-8 was clearly ADDED by the RCC is in the fact that most versions have now dropped that indefensible forgery.

Many Trinitarians acknowledge that the addition known as the Johannine Comma (1 John 5:7-8) is not found in the earliest Greek manuscripts and is considered a later interpolation. While it supports the doctrine of the Trinity, its authenticity is debated among scholars, and many modern translations omit it or include it as a footnote.

Trinitarian Perspectives

While the Comma supports the doctrine of the Trinity, many Trinitarians do not defend its inclusion in the biblical text due to the lack of early manuscript evidence. They often argue that the doctrine of the Trinity can be supported through other scriptural passages without relying on this disputed text.

In summary, the Johannine Comma remains a debated topic, with significant evidence suggesting it was added later rather than being part of the original epistle.

The INSANITY of the “trinity” delusion…

Words or phrases that those who believe “Jesus is God” – whether as part of the 3=1 “trinity” doctrine or its variant “oneness” doctrine – must deceitfully redefine to try to make that religious superstition work in their minds.

The practice of “legalese” is taking the meaning of common use words, and redefining them to mean something else, usually the exact opposite of what they actually mean, with the intention of deceiving others. This practice has been employed by the courts (and its attorneys and judges, etc.), and in the churches (by the priests, pastors, rabbis and imams, etc. of every organized religion on Earth, in every synagogues, mosques, temples, etc.) for thousands of years, to deceive and to control the minds of those who are unaware of this practice.

The following is a partial list of words or phrases that those who believe in a schizophrenic 3=1 triune god dishonestly attempt to redefine to make that religious superstition work:-

Appointed/Appointed One (God is NEVER appointed by anyone else to do anything)

Anointed/Anointed One (God is never anointed by anyone else, nor did He anoint Himself)

Begotten (made/created, i.e. brought into existence, either from creation or in the case of humans, from procreation)

Born (God, who exists from everlasting to everlasting, can NEVER be described as “born”, i.e. brought into existence)

Brethren (how could God have brethren?)

Creature (something that is created)

Father (a Father is the progenitor of the Father’s Children)

Fellows (how could God have fellows?)

Firstborn/Firstbegotten (how could God be the first one brought into existence?)

Equal to (how could anyone be equal to God?)

Given (why would God need anyone to give Him anything?)

God (omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent at ALL times)

Godhead (described in 1 Corinthians 11:3)

Grace (doing something effortlessly, offering someone a grace period, etc.)

Greater than (which can never mean “equal to”)

Heir (God obviously cannot be His own heir)

Image (likeness, when compared to the original)

Inheritance (how could God inherit anything He doesn’t already possess?)

Invisible (not visible)

Made (created - there is no such thing as “begotten not made”, because)

Man (humans)

Mediator (a liaison between two parties)

Nothing (which can never mean everything)

Of (originating from)

Omnipotent (all-powerful at all times)

Omnipresent (ever-present, at all times)

Omniscient (all-knowing at all times - see Matt. 24:36)

One (which means one, NOT 3=1 or 1=3 or anything other than one)

Son (the offspring of the Father, either created or, in the case of humans, procreated)

Son of God (the offspring created by God, Who is a Spiritual-Being - John 4:24)

Son of Man (the male offspring of a human, usually resulting from procreation, with one very notable exception)

The Head of (the Lord of, boss of, leader of, etc.)

The MOST High (there are NONE higher, nor equal to)

Three (which means 3, NOT 3=1 or 1=3 or anything other than three, e.g. see: Matt. 12:39-40)

Two (which means 2)

Visible (something that can be seen, i.e. that which is NOT invisible)

From the King of kings’ Bible, based upon the original Bible text:-

Matthew 28:19 and 1 John 5:7 in context:-

Matthew 28:18-20
28:18 And Jesus came and spoke unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
28:19 Go ye therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them with the Holy Spirit: in my name (The Saviour),
28:20 Instructing them to observe (and DO) all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, [even] unto the end of the world (age). Amen.

That “King of Kings” Bible is complete garbage. Stick to God’s inspired and preserved Word, the King James Bible.

The King of kings’ Bible is from the King of kings Himself, exactly as prophesied.

Revelation 5:1-5
5:1 And I saw in the right hand of Him that sat on the throne a Book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals (seven in God’s “Code” means ALL or COMPLETELY).
5:2 And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the Book, and to loose the seals thereof?
5:3 And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the Book, neither to look thereon.
5:4 And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the Book, neither to look thereon.
5:5 And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Source of David, hath prevailed to open the Book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.

Revelation 19:11-16
19:11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him [was] called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
19:12 His eyes [were] as a flame of fire, and on his head [were] many crowns; and he had a NAME written, that NO man knew, but HE himself (ch. 2:17; 3:12).
19:13 And he [was] clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
19:14 And the armies [which were] in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
19:15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
19:16 And he hath on [his] vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

Hebrews 10:28-29
10:28 He that despised Moses’ Law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:
10:29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of The Covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?

How much time spent sitting here arguing over this could have been spent doing something in God’s honor? Something good for another person. I believe that Jesus would say to you both that this quarreling is utter foolishness. Have Faith in God, hope in Jesus, repent for your sins, and help other people. It is that simple.
