@RedQueen I haven’t heard of the movie Undertone. Although I have heard and read reviews of many people that after watching some horror movies and shows like The Conjuring, The Grudge, The Haunting of Hill House, etc in theatre, tv and mobile, they have felt negative energies and evil spirits around them and in their home.

What you are thinking/believing is right and it happens because theatre, tv and mobile screen is basically a portal/door, even mirror is a portal/door which gives access to negative energies and evil spirits through horror movies and shows to chase us or to enter our home to torment/scare us with their presence, especially if we don’t bind the theater screen, our tv/mobile screen, ourselves, our family and our home before watching horror movies and shows in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit or cover the theater screen, our tv/mobile screen, ourselves, our family and our home with the Blood of JESUS before watching horror movies and shows.

That’s why pastors and evangelists advise that we shouldn’t watch horror movies and shows without specifically praying for our well-being and safety so that we can keep ourselves, our families and our homes safe from negative energies and evil spirits in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit and by the Blood of JESUS.

only gore and it’s just not even exciting or “entertaining” perhaps if it even had a mysterious engaging narrative but it just felt like the target audience was for Pre-adolescents, also when I look back at films I used to love I find the narrative so basic and infantilized, even R Rated adult movies

Same with other rubbish, I don’t even waste my time watching anything about zombies or vampires, i’d be bored out of my skull..:slight_smile:

Do you remember a movie based on a novel by Stephen King,The Mist ? I think it was around 2006/7/8,somewhere amid this timeline. It’s been so many years now. Well,after having watched this at a theater in my hometown, I decided I am not going to watch any movie again. And I kept my promise until this moment,now. I remember my feeling after watching it was “WHY am I watching such crap ?”. Mind you, I was always one or two steps ahead of my general environment, considering movies and music. I was SO into it. Nowadays, I’m left years behind. I have no idea what movies are about today,I read about this Hereditaries,Conjurings or Nunns,but my first thought about them is always the same : just another crap fest,stay away. I don’t know how Netflix looks like,I don’t know who the new Oscar winner is,I’m fine. Almost 20 years of not watching ANYTHING (well,trailers only,lol). Oh,not to forget : there’s no TV set at my place since the late 90s.

Conjuring and Nun movies are actually quite good IMO. They don’t truly glorify the darkness–the light of God defeats it.

You do have a good point, Conjuring actually has a bit more accurate consistent plot (they claim it’s based on real life) but where no matter what “evil” happens, main characters do actually maintain their morals and good prevails. And people are usually depicted as real humans, with faith, where the rare kindness and normal friendly interactions are expected and nicely done. Unlike all the other A24 company films which ALL characters are brain dead, are hateful towards others, have no faith nor common sense whatsoever, turn the “good” main characters usually families, mothers and innocent children turn into evil demonic killers who go after one another which makes the movies so repetitive, boring and ultra repulsive

OK,if both of you are saying that this was actually an anti-anti- Christian movie,then I can’t argue with you,because, as I wrote above, I haven’t even watched it. What I know about that movie is based on what I have seen on trailers, articles, sites like this one VC,in which we all participate to, or in critics about it. I only get "the idea ",if you know what I mean. That’s how I know about the whole movie industry, to be honest, about the movies themselves,because I told you, I avoid contact with big screens and TV since a long time ago. Years ago. And, add to this that,instead of watching the moviesthemselves, I spend a lot of time watching videos on the internet about those movies, from creators who, as yet, I consider as,generally, good sources (they also do mistakes),about the occult,which IS my personal field of deep research (not practicing of course) and,coincidentally, this is why I want to know about those movies. About what they really depict, no matter if they mask off as anti-satanic. They have already made an impression,an unnecessary impression to the mind of anyone who’s watching. It’s about the deeper look at the farther impact these movies create to our impressionable minds and how also the people behind their making want to really manipulate the masses. With horror, with drama, with comedy, with action movies, with super heroes, with musicals, with spy movies, with historical movies, with soft or hard p%@n trash either.

Actually, we are discussing in this forum because we came in touch with the site of Vigilant Citizen, in the first place, who’s offering (among others) is exactly articles and deeper looks about this, I mean movies like the Nunn or of other genres as well.

Finally let me trust you that I’m an AVID reader, I spend LOADS of time reading books about religion, philosophy, biographies of people who were into the occult from the ancient times to today,about etymology and also about origins of things. I’m quite nerdy about reading,I want to know :smiley: I am a proud owner of a really well informed library and I am also very lucky, because these last years,my job allows me to spend a lot of time just reading and keeping notes and being connected to the net simultaneously,so to add more info to what I read on paper. And,no,I’m not some scholar at a university, I just happen to do lots of night shifts at the hotel where I work, when everyone’s asleep, the nights are quiet and I have the opportunity to focus for three to four hours in good reading​:grinning_face:

Nothing is innocent, I guess. A movie can introduce itself as intentionally good. An impressionable mind though, especially if we talk about teenagers, (and we have all been teenagers at some point in our lives) sees an exorcist and a demon and a werewolf and a vampire and a knight who’s beheading someone else and a cop killing a drug trafficker and a couple falling in illegal sexual relationship and… the list is long. I don’t want to watch anymore of it, honestly.

If you say that these two movies are actually good, I really appreciate your opinion and I accept that maybe I’m wrong for judging them badly.

Well in my honest opinion the conjuring films are so good for about the first 40 minutes, then it goes down hill with the jump scares, the recent film I turned it off halfway because of course the grotesque excessive graphic scenes. The latest Conjuring film was interesting, until the child started vomit… blood… and we were like enough, and shut it off because that’s just the tip, then it get’s worst and probably Hollywood satanic. Remember production and script writers consist of different teams, ones who set the tone, other team make sure audience is engaged, then a few writers who always make sure that no matter how good or safe these films are, they sabotage and include things that nobody actually want to see… and if you see interviews, you notice even the actors are not happy about doing certain scenes, it’s always the same, even with Music videos, there are soo many artists that years later admit they were agains’t certain videos or outfits or even lyrics, like Kesha being “forced” to sing “Die Young” after “Sandy Hook”, etc

I find myself when watching anything now a days

if I can’t Hear the frequencies come on but my body is having a reaction to them,i automatically turn the volume off

for certain parts of imagery in the media i will skip over altogether

I find this Helps me
See the intended subliminals easier sometimes
