this is a terrifying plot to me only because We Know it will be Our future if tptb have their way
Overview
In the near future, an advanced AI judge tells a captive detective that he’s on trial for the murder of his wife. If he fails to prove his innocence within 90 minutes, he’ll be executed on the spot
@TheSeeker7 yikes. That was hilarious and fascinating at the same time. The Same people that made G.I. Joe made Jem and the Holograms. I wonder if that has Easter Eggs in it too. That was what I watched as a kid.
Has anyone watched “The Assessment”? Which VC did the most recent article on.
I try not to politicize everything because I think what’s happening in this world is much bigger than politics, but I found the concept interesting that it has this authoritarian feel, yet it remains politically neutral.
In the world of Liberal Hollywood where I’m certain 99% of people involved in the making of this film fear this vague conservative Handmaids Tale future, and the parts with the Assessor woman watching them have sex and stuff, remind me of those ridiculous Democrat campaign commercials that were about rich white Republicans creepily telling you if you can masturbate or have sex etc
But they never make it overtly obvious that this is about some form of Christian oppression or anything to do with Conservatives, and in our current political fear mongering climate over such a thing, it seems like that would be the obvious route to take.
So why do I think it matters?
Because to me that means this is openly close to the actual truth of what they have planned, they see it this way, accurately, as VC writes in his article this is indeed a WEF insight in to our futures.
If it wasn’t that, if it was just a fictional story of some whacky oppressive future, in 2024 they would have 100% given some nods to how we ended up here, from a political past, from an authoritarian Orange president, something along those lines.
That seems like the easiest link to make, but they don’t, because I suppose the accuracy of when “they have to tell us” is important.
And if anything it’s the liberal class that is leading us towards this oppression, so they will avoid the topic completely.
