Hello and Welcome to this thread.
Have you guys watched the Netflix show “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina”? I tried watching the show twice but I couldn’t watch it. The entire show is based on illuminati, sacrifices and rituals. The show is so dark.

I never watch those kinds of tv shows.
A few years back though i tried to watch the 2 part mini series Rosemary’s Baby, and after about 20 mins i felt this horrible darkness come over me. At first I thought maybe I was just having one of those days. So about a week later I tried again, same thing happened.
The Staircase, the TV series about Kathleen Peterson’s suspicious death. By episode 2 it was basically g@y p0rn. Immediately done.
Also, Yellowstone. It kept getting more and more vulgar and violent, and I felt convicted to stop watching.
I am taking seriously these days the command to guard my heart. I used to be a lot more lenient. I have found that it is also difficult to find good fiction books that aren’t full of s*x or have sick, dark storylines.
I gave up on Yellowstone too. Kevin Costner’s stupid grunting blasphemy. Kelly Reilly’s drunken, profane promiscuity…can’t do it.
I tried watching Hereditary …I had to shut it off when the car accident occurs. shivers
alien vs predator 2
the maternity ward scene..just upsetting on a spiritual level to watch
@Scout I watch shows and movies on weekends because weekends are the only time when I get free time to watch shows and movies. I plan beforehand which shows and movies to watch over the weekend. But unfortunately when I decided to watch that show, at that time I didn’t have any good show or movie to watch. Hence I was searching for a show or movie on Netflix to watch and then I found that show, I thought it was a normal teen drama so I decided to watch it. The first episode was okay but when I watched the second and third episodes I started feeling uneasy and getting a headache. At first I thought that perhaps this was happening due to fatigue, so I stopped the show there. And I was really fatigued at that time. But when I watched the show again after two months, the same thing happened to me again while I wasn’t fatigued at all and then I decided not to watch the show again. That was the first time I experienced something like this while watching a show or movie.
@llacey414 I haven’t watched both these shows. I don’t like watching shows and movies that have s*x, porn, lesbian and gay related love contents, I avoid watching such shows and movies that have contents related to these. Not because I am spiritual and straight, just because I feel it’s better not to watch it, especially for the betterment of my eyes, mind and thoughts. That’s why before watching any show or movie, I search about it, check their reviews and ratings, especially since the show “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina”. So that watching such contents can be avoided.
I completely agree with you that it’s hard to find even good fiction books/novels that aren’t full of s*x, porn or have sick, dark storylines, even shows and movies that aren’t full of s*x, porn, gay and lesbian stories. That’s why I prefer watching Korean, Japanese, Chinese dramas and movies more because they at least have some shows and movies that don’t have that kind of contents, especially those that can be watched and enjoyed with family. Even anime series and movies. I’m someone who prefers watching shows and movies more with family rather than alone as it’s more fun to watch shows and movies with family.
@Kiel_Kyght I have watched the movie Hereditary, the movie is entirely based on a demonic cult’s use of rituals and sacrifices to summon the demon king paimon, the demon who is more loyal and obedient to satan than the other demon kings. Although this is one of those movies I seriously regret watching.
@kid_guttenberg I watched this movie half on TV with my siblings and cousins, I remember when that scene came my elder cousin immediately changed the channel and after that we didn’t watch the movie. Fortunately. Also, I’m not much of a fan of watching shows and movies related to aliens.
The series you mention, does it start with first scene happening inside a Church? I think a witch and werewolf and someone else goes inside. If that’s a yes, I have switched it off after that scene. Other movies I started, but decided against are:
The Vampire Diaries - I’ve stopped watching when they started seriously gulping blood ewww;
Lucifer - the title alone makes me wanna live in the woods without screen access;
Black Mirror - that competition for the most evil episode was too insulting for my soul and sensitivity;
Breaking Bad - it’s like bad becomes good in this series, too much for this girl;
Dr House - could someone slap the good doctor and bring him back to reality? No? Fine, I ain’t watching him, he is too progressive and cold/inhumane;
The Sandman - that I stopped watching when I think the caged bird started reminding me of evil personified and I started feeling the invisible barriers between his cage and my world disappearing;
And nowadays, I switch movies off when the name of Jesus or the Lord is called in vain or follows with profanity. I try to instill the habit of saying the Golden Arrow.
I saw something on that show,and It was very creepy a lot different from the One with Melissa Joan Hart
The original Sabrina looks like it wanted to make being a witch fun and relatable while the new Sabrina is trying to make being a witch cool and boundary pushing.
I actually had trouble going back to watch the original Sabrina with my kids. Too much promoting of witchcraft while trying to make it look fun and 90’s style hip and cool. The only lessons learned in the show is witchcraft is not a toy. Sort of the great power comes great responsibility lesson but the power here is satan’s witchcraft.
Yes you’re right but It looks less creepier than the new One ..
