The star trails are actually saying a rotating Earth makes more sense, if what you’re talking about are the long-exposure photographs. It doesn’t matter if Polaris is fixed or moves slightly. You’ll have the same effect either way with a rotating Earth. Since Polaris is almost, but not quite fixed and because the Earth’s axis is almost, but not precisely pointing to it, the surrounding stars will appear like circles on long-exposure photographs because of their relative motion.
If you have an Earth that doesn’t rotate around its own axis, then you wouldn’t have those circles around Polaris, unless the universe rotates around the Earth, (which is also possible. Again, I’m not disputing a stationary Earth), but not if those stars are thousands of light years away. It would be physically impossible to move at x times the speed of light. In that case, you would have to fall back on Sungenis’s appeal to relativity and frame-of-reference coordinate system. (You are aware of Sungenis, right?)
But if you’re thinking of a “firmament”, a.k.a a stationary sky, then that whole Polaris-with-circles phenomenon is impossible, because something has to be rotating. Unless you go the Truman Show route and believe the stars in the sky are spotlights directed by a lighting crew.
Now get to the point, please. And don’t forget to tie this in with your Flat Earth beliefs.

The constellations are the same every year, because the Earth rotates around the Sun every year. And technically, the constellations aren’t exactly the same every year. They move ever so slightly that a change at hundreds of light years distance from Earth is just not noticeable, even if they move millions or billions of kilometers. It only becomes noticeable over a long period of time. We’re talking millennia.
You will never in your lifetime be personally able to empirically verify with the naked eye the movement of these stars, so you’ll go “Aha! I knew it. Believing they move requires blind faith in NASA!”.
Not really. It would require a mere verification of basic math and physics. But that might be a stretch for some. You’re clearly an unserious person who’s lacking basic education who, after all this time, STILL hasn’t given a Flat Earth argument. lol
