That’s a good point, I wonder if any of the relationships are genuine, now she’s getting married apparently and I presume aiming to have a child with that man relatively soon, wonder how that works? Maybe it’s the first real one? Or is her entire life, even marriage and children, a total lie.

Think of the arranged marriages of royalty in the past. They aren’t interested in each other but certain bloodlines and alliances have to be fulfilled. They might have other partners secretly on the side, but to the public, this is the relationship.

Considering what the butterfly symbol means though, I do think it is likely that the symbol being so prominent with her at the start of her career symbolized how she was a victim to monarch programming. In her documentary Journey to Fearless there is even a scene where she is being interviewed with a monarch butterfly bobby pin attached to her hair. The butterfly symbol was also used often with Miley Cyrus at the start of her career. They both started out seemingly very innocent, but they have taken dark turns since then.

Well just to clarify, I’m not dismissing the butterfly as nothing, especially how she turned out to be like a witch, I would say it’s worth noting, but I was saying “patterns” in terms of various different things lining up instead of just the one symbol

I recall watching her sing live on tv award shows and she was AWFUL! To the point that I said “wow I would never pay to see her live, she is terrible!!”
Fast forward and now she is suddenly good live? Or have we been duped by back tracks etc.

Are you sure it wasn’t one bad performance? Not that she’s incredible live but she’s normally fine, depends on the song as well.
If it was an awards show it can be down to issues with the sound set up as well. But I listened to her earliest performances once recently, I think I was looking up stuff in relation to us talking about her here, and she could sing fine as a kid.

She is not a good singer. She used to be a bad singer and now she is just okay. She has improved, but not by much. These days for her live performances she either lip syncs to pre-recorded vocals or has autotune on her mic. There are videos on YouTube going in depth on how she actually lip synched most of The Eras Tour. I know that we’re not supposed to like mainstream here, but I actually do like her first two albums, since I grew up listening to them lol. She sounds pretty good when there is studio engineering involved.
