Occultism in movies

It seems like every week there is a new movie with a satanic storyline. Is this to desensitize the public? To make us not take the threats of the devil seriously? Or simply to instill constant fear in us? I mean, who actually enjoys these movies? They are so disturbing.

Definitely desensitizing

I agree. There is so much darkness with the movies lately and I refuse to watch most of them. Just seems like you’d be inviting in that darkness. And there’s a lot of satanic stuff now like it’s the “cool thing”. Scary

I feel it is all of those things — desensitize, invite fear, and make the satanic stuff seem less serious. Years ago I liked to watch scary movies, I am not sure why considering they affected me for days, sometimes weeks, and sometimes months. After I watched The Conjuring about 10 years ago (please never watch it, it’s totally demonic), I was kind of in shock as to how much it scared me and was affecting my sleep at night for many weeks. A few years later I started learning a lot more about opening doors to the demonic and realized this is absolutely one way we can do that. Satan is about fear… intentionally invite fear into your mind, open yourself up to it willingly, and you are opening doors. Most people (even Christians) don’t believe that something as “harmless” as a movie will open doors to foul and evil spirits, so of course Satan will infiltrate movies and film to do his thing. I think it becomes more dark and scary and blatant because people eat it up — they are looking for something to get them to feel something, even fear. Also, people are just so naive (and unwilling to open their eyes, sometimes) when it comes to how serious this stuff is.

@llacey414 The Conjuring 2 and The Nun 1 and 2 are my favorite horror movies. The Conjuring 2 shows how valak was immediately went to Hell in the Mighty and Victorious name of the FATHER, the SON, and the HOLY SPIRIT.

Nun 1 shows how valak went to Hell immediately when the Mighty and Victorious Blood of JESUS was poured on valak’s face and water.

In Nun 2, when the nuns place their hands on the wine of the Last Supper and pray that “This is the cup of my blood. The blood of the new and everlasting covenant. That will be shed for you and for all so that your sins may be forgiven. Do this in memory of me”. Amen. This turns the entire wine in the room into the blood of JESUS, which washes over and burns valak, sending it back to Hell. Which was really so amazing and miraculous, that’s why I love those movies and those movies are my favorite.

Also, The Deliverance movie because it shows how a little faith of prayer can defeat the satan.

What you are saying is right but I love to watch such horror movies where satan is shown defeated in the name of the FATHER, the SON and the HOLY SPIRIT, the Blood of JESUS and the prayers of faith.
