I know it’s most likely to desensitise the masses in preparation for the Anti-Christ. But it’s absolutely insane how normalised it is and pretty harmful to be honest. And no it’s not just a TV show. Because the outcome it has on impressionable people—especially in terms of like fandom culture. But also people don’t get that it’s all super spiritual. You’re constantly taking in all of this information, subconsciously, receiving it, interacting with it. It messes with your psyche. Like you may not see it automatically but down the line…
Anyway I wanted to talk about Supernatural for instance (which is super popular)
I mean supernatural in itself is pretty self explanatory (if you’ve watched the show you know lol)
But they literally had a whole story arch at some point where God is the villain and Satan is the poor misunderstood black sheep of the family who did nothing wrong. And the entire fandom sympathises with him. In the show Satan also mates with a human creating a nephiliam child. (We’ll call him Jack) who becomes the “new God”
Like they’re literally telling us to our faces. The Anti-Christ will become the New God in the end of times. Insane. The show also referenced to a New World Order. Time stamp watch from 1:15 to 1:50
@DarkAndWild Hello. Even in the Dear Santa (satan) movie, Kpop Demon Hunters movie and the drama Genie Make A Wish it’s shown how misunderstood satan/demon is and how poor, kind, humble, innocent and great satan/demon is. Disgusting.
Thank you for starting a thread to discuss this topic as it’s really important to discuss this topic and make everyone aware of it. I’m curious and interested to know your analysis on other shows and movies on this topic.
If only all those millions who run around in a mindless frenzy every December knew that SANTA is the anagram for SATAN ….what a fucking joke it all is - the blood drinking scum must be high-fiving and pissing their pants having sold the shopkeepers wet dream so easily to the goyim.
Gnosticism is a mishmash of bizarre occultic beliefs that seek to undermine the reliability of the Bible. It’s said that the Epistle of 1 John was written as a polemic against it.
I know the occult symbolism in all that, so I always taught my kids about St. Nicholas not santa. My kids are not in satan’s claws (santa clause). Of course we focus on the true meaning of that celebration which is the birth of Jesus.
I just rewatched the supernatural series to See what I missed the first time around.
it was the same as I remembered but I did notice alot more symbolism and that they use real ruins/sigils etc..in these types of shows not just with supernatural
there is also the show lucifer that tries to create sympathy and flip the script
I think many with a God sensitivity have been noting this trend for years. Every time I think that show X is the most blatant, up pops another one with an even more explicit reference. Plus, when you start looking at shows from the 1970s and earlier, you realize this trend has been rolling for decades. The only real difference is that the mainstream shows were more “coy” about satanic references, not deficient. I don’t know when they started calling satan/lucifer by name as a respectable character, but it does seem that every few months, media gets more and more chummy with the idea that that YHWH is the epitome of evil and confusion and this satan characters is really the one to know.
Thanks for pointing out some of the Supernatural plot lines. I was curious about it, but never really saw it: your recap was what I needed to know.
"The Devil’s Apocrypha: There Are Two Sides To Every Story” is a book that is based on this same idea. I got to read a few chapters of this, and some time later was introduced to the basic idea of gnosticism: these chapters I read was a much messiest version.
What was funny about the book and many people who are strong advocates of gnosticism was the constant refrain that “this makes so much more sense than “traditional Christianity,” whose benighted followers are just dumb.”
The truth?
People will believe what matches their preferences the best. If you want a belief muddled in redefined terms every second use of them to the point of confusion, but that make you sound smarter and/or more fashionable than people who are very clear in their beliefs, chemicals and demons are ready to take your order. Popularized satan/gnosticism are definitely on that menu.
‘‘God? Well I tell you. Let me give you a little inside information about God. God likes to watch. He’s a prankster. Think about it. He gives man instincts. He gives you this extraordinary gift and then what does he do? I swear, for his own amusement, his own private cosmic gag reel he sets the rules in opposition. It’s the goof of all time. Look but don’t touch. Touch but don’t taste. Taste but don’t swallow. And while you’re jumping on one foot to the next, what is he doing? He’s laughing his sick fucking ass off. He’s a tightass. He’s a sadist. He’s an absentee-landlord! Worship that? Never!’’
a few more shows that do the flip flop and as Im trying to remember the shows I’ve watched that do this,I notice I’ve Seen alot and there has been a major push for over 2 decades with this narrative
back in the day most these shows would have flopped hard and most wouldn’t even have passed the pilot stage
