Drawing Parallels

Here’s a thread where one can draw parallels in the hope that one day (given that one day is one day and/or even more), one shall actually be transported into a parallel dimension. So thanks for making use of your creative minds!

What is a car except also a house, all on its four corners, also known as wheels?

Except also a ride, maybe a horse, hence horsepower, right?

What’s a pet, if not company, and truly isn’t more really the merrier when one’s in love?

Poems are pots of emotions, minds, mirrors of creativity, and the deceased are actually alive.

First picture is of Nikola Tesla.

Second Picture is of Mahatma Gandhi.

Nikola Tesla was born in 1856.

Mahatma Gandhi was born in 1869.

The former was a Serbian-American engineer, futurist, and inventor.

The latter was an Indian lawyer, thinker, anti-colonial activist, and political ethicist.

Now who doesn’t know where India is on this world’s map (let alone America)?

Regardless, the parallel between those two is surely the:

This forum is a platform.

Even that table is a platform.

The floor too is a platform.

Therefore, even Planet Earth is a platform, although a round one at that.

The vignette above can also be called a thumbnail.

It is that of a movie, namely,

“The Big Blue (LE GRAND BLEU) is an Adventure, Romance, Sport film directed and written by Luc Besson. It was released on 11 May 1988 (France).”

So it is roughly 3 years, 4 months, and 10 days younger than me.

Half an hour into the movie, I couldn’t help but feel the need to share it, again.

Mind you that it’s said to be 2 hours and 48 minutes though. Enjoy if you want to!

The sense of sight can be equated with the sense of touch perception since through feeling with one’s fingers, for example, one can actually see in one’s own mind as to what one’s touching.

I used to constantly witness the sight of vibrating of dust particles.

Now, I can only hear them sometimes.

Conclusion:

Through hearing also, one can actually see something in one’s mind’s eye.

Whether a constant lapse of time or occasional short lapses of time of the enjoyment of something, does it really matter?

A mantra is (originally in Hinduism and Buddhism) a word or sound repeated to aid concentration in meditation.

“a mantra is given to a trainee meditator when his teacher initiates him”.

A manta ray, on the other hand, is a magnificent creature that lives in Planet Earth’s many oceans.

In my book, animals are way more intelligent than many many human beings although God is The Best of all judges.

Comedy and Horror as two different opposing genres of movies.

Two sides of the same coin, you think?

Or two ends of the same spectrum?

“On the same wavelength” means two or more people think in a similar way, have the same opinions, or understand each other well, indicating a shared perspective or mindset. This idiom comes from the idea of people being “tuned in” to the same frequency, like a radio broadcast.

Infrared waves versus ultraviolet waves

So there are waves that we can see as in the sea waves and waves that we cannot see as the ones above. Or do some people see them? Or maybe at least some are conscious of their existence…
