For what it’s worth, round is circular and a circle is surely the most perfect of all shapes.
Now, how many revolution-in-circles (strictly-one-singularly-directional trips) can there be on a round ball such as this Earth we’re on?
The day and the night follow each other just like the sun and the moon do not waver in their orbits.
Everything rotates, from our own mouths sectioning the wood we eat into smaller sub-particles, to the growth of the egg into another circularly full-fledged baby, from the time one comes into this world to the time one dies, everything is kind of a cycle involving a beginning and an end whereby repetition becomes necessary for one’s own self-improvement or realization of any area of perfection, the height of which is The Almighty Himself to Whom everybody is constantly returning, whether we’re aware of it or not.
Like father, like son, and like mother, like daughter.
Everybody is a continuation of their parents and that too since Adam and Eve.
We all are faced with the choice between good and bad, two parts of one single circle, the yin and the yang, until either the good overtakes a person’s heart, or the bad.
It’s all very simple, so why the hell is there an f’in need to complicate things with titles such as this thread’s?

How does someone making a video – while standing at a construction site and talking about things they know nothing about – somehow constitute evidence in any rationally-minded individual?
IF someone actually grasps the magnitude/scale involved, i.e. what curvature should reasonably be expected to be visible on a planet with a mean diameter of around 7920 miles (which produces a circumference of close to 24,900 miles), why would they expect there to be an 8" drop over a one mile span?
Anyone who has ever driven over a mounded spot on a dirt-road in a pick-up truck knows that the challenge comes at the top of the mound. THAT is where the truck will become high-centered, if it lacks the ground clearance to make it over the mounded area.
There’s never any concern that the truck will get on top of the mounded area and then be unable to keep its front wheels on the ground when making its way down the opposite side.
In other words, over a ONE-MILE STRETCH on a spherical-shaped planet with a mean diameter of 7920 miles, what sort of bulge would be expected IN THE MIDDLE?
TWO INCHES.
The curvature of the Earth in between two points on its surface a mile a part would be TWO INCHES higher in the middle than on either end, as long as there wasn’t a physical mountain or valley being traversed. That’s all.
For skeptics, it’s time to draw a circle, take some measurements and do some actual math/maths before ignorantly MIS-applying a formula that you don’t understand.
TANGENTIAL CURVATURE is the curvature of the Earth at a specific point, looking out from that point along a line tangent to the surface of the Earth.
THE EXPECTED RISE between two points on the surface of the Earth is something completely different, and is exactly 25% (1/4) the amount of the tangential curvature, because it cuts the distance in half, which is squared because it’s circular (the mid-point between two points is where the rise will be its highest).
LEARN the difference between the two.
Anyone who bothers to do this will immediately realize that using a laser level across the TOP of the concrete forms over a one mile stretch would only encounter a two-inch difference in the middle. Something that could easily be worked out.

Something else that misguided proponents of the “flat Earth” always seem to mix up is TANGENTIAL VELOCITY and ROTATIONAL RATE.
The tangential velocity at the Earth’s equator is around 1040 mph.
But the Earth’s rotational rate is 1 revolution per day. In revolutions per minute, that works out to 1 rev/24 hours divided by 60 = 1 rev/1440 or
0.0006944 rpm
The old 45 rpm record players (for those who can remember them) spun records at 64,800 times faster than the rotational rate of the Earth.
THAT is why you don’t feel like you’re on a merry-go-round. Again, very simple math/maths.

The ONLY way for a body to feel the sensation of being upside down is for the head to be closer to the center of the Earth than the feet. It doesn’t matter whether one is standing upside down on their head in North American or upside down on their head “down under” in Australia. The sensation is just the same.
And yes, there are TWO polar regions on this planet: The Arctic region around the North pole and the Antarctic region around the South pole.
Thousands of people have visited both polar regions by boat and by plane. People have lived in both polar regions. And people have experienced the 24 hour sun in both polar regions at opposite times of the year, just as they have experienced 24 hours of darkness at opposite times of the year in both polar regions.

Speaking of the South Pole, perhaps there’s something odd down there?
Interestingly, some of Amundsens huskies began acting strangely as they made towards the south pole, sniffing and scenting the air.
This extract was written by Amundsen in ‘The Pole at Last’, also page 461 in ‘Travel in Dangerous Places’.
“What on earth is Uroa [a dog] scenting?”
It was Bjaaland who made this remark, “and the strange thing is that he’s scenting to the south.”
Mylius, Ring, and Suggen [other dogs] showed the same interest in the southern direction, it was quite extraordinary to see how they raised their heads with every sign of curiosity, put their noses in the air and sniffed due south.
One would really have thought there was something remarkable to be found there."
They carried on to the Pole but saw nothing unusual.
There were no other humans or animals around, (Scott was a month behind Amundsen), so the mystery remains as to what the dogs were scenting.

And, yet, instrumentation can.
More specifically, because the centrifugal force at the equator is indeed acting to “throw you off the ball” - as I’ve heard flat-Earthers put it to ask why we don’t just fly off the Earth due to centrifugal force if we are spinning - the immense force of Earth’s gravity is about half a percent less at the equator.
This has been measured by very precise instrumentation. Humans have gotten quite good at measuring gravity in the more than four centuries now since Newton. And gravity is an immense force. Even the Earth’s spin isn’t nearly strong enough to counteract it. So you remain stuck firmly on the ground, despite the spin wanting to throw you off it at roughly 0.05 m/s².
As for the movement itself, you do not feel the movement yourself because the rest of your surroundings are spinning with you.
This is related to the concept of an inertial reference frame.
You must understand inertia to understand anything relevant about high-level physics.
Your surroundings at the equator do not constitute a true inertial reference frame precisely because the Earth is indeed spinning - but it’s close! Most of your surroundings have almost the same inertia that you do. And because you all do have almost the same inertia, you don’t feel a sense of motion.
The small ways that this inertial reference frame are broken can be seen both in the reduced gravity at the equator via the centrifugal force (and slightly greater distance as the Earth is very slightly oblong) - and in the Coriolis effect when one is not at the equator.
Because of the Earth’s rotation and the Coriolis force, hurricanes and typhoons rotate counterclockwise in the Northern Hemisphere, but clockwise in the Southern Hemisphere, as do drains of all sizes.
The Coriolis effect is going to be very, very hard to understand if you don’t understand inertia. It is an effect that produces an apparent force - but the “force” is actually a product of the curvature of space itself, and an object’s motion relative both to it and to you, another moving object, as the observer. To put it another way, this force appears to exist because you are moving in a curve relative to the object’s own inertia.
These things are not easy to understand.
I am quite good at physics as these things are considered - and yet inertial reference frames can easily break my own brain, as it were. They’re very difficult.
It took a genius like Einstein’s to realize how many of the apparent forces and rules of our reality are actually determined by the way things change simply because one is looking at things from a different point in space.

Thanks for that little engineering truth vid - should be required viewing for all those who still cant share their ‘programming’ - like the gentleman featured, I and millions of others have used lasers and levels of various kinds to ensure the structures we build are plumb and level. Then, when the structures are complete, we can go out and place levels on the surfaces and find that day after day, week after week, year after year and, no doubt, century after century, the surfaces are remaining totally PLUMB and LEVEL. How is this possible if the earth is spinning and wobbling in all manner of directions ….Its NOT.
