This is dangerous. What happens if the rest of us (that Mike Huckabee claimed come from weak churches) refuse to accept that ācorrective theologyā that is so crucial to the āall-importantā Middle East foreign policy? Because itās not enough to just call it heresy or blasphemy. Itās clear that at some point, coercion is going to be employed inorder to produce the desired results. Punishments will attend āhereticalā and āblasphemousā utterances and itās not like we havenāt been warnedā¦..as Lindsey Graham so eloquently put itā¦.āGod will pull the plug on usā or John Hagee back in August, that those who do not toe the line will be treated like the Amalekites.
For Palestinian Christians watching from just miles away, the scene felt familiar. It mirrored a pattern we know from both daily life and the Gospels: political authority and religious influence aligning while the vulnerable bear the cost. In Jesusā time, Pilate and the Sanhedrin reinforced each otherās power at the expense of justice. Today, Christians in Bethlehem and Jerusalem see a similar convergence that deepens displacement, restricts worship, and silences the very Christian communities rooted in this land.
That convergence was reinforced not only by who was excluded, but by what was said at the summit, which paired exclusion with theological coercion. U.S. Ambassador Mike Huckabee told the assembled pastors that āthere is a growing cancer within the evangelical movementā because some Christians do not interpret Scripture exactly as he does regarding Israel. He even warned that disagreeing with his political theology āborders on blasphemy.ā

47minsā¦from a couple months ago. No bombshell information but it was still a good talk; the editors of Responsible Statecraft, The American Conservative, Antiwar.con and UnHerd.

Look at the date. Courting younger evangelicals (especially) is existential for Israel

Interestingly, just today Betar posted a relink from the ākahanismā page on X:
Kahanism is STILL a listed terrorist organization in the United States.
Quite frankly, were Trumpās Administration not a sham and a piece of Mаsonic theater, this tweet alone would be enough to place Betar itself under criminal investigation for ties to terrorism.
It is so bad that the message from the pulpits these days is; āIf you donāt kiss Israelās toes, your salvation is on the line. You arenāt going to heavenā

Greenblatt recently announced a formal partnership with the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference during a speaking engagement at Sinai Temple in Los Angeles, revealing an extensive outreach initiative targeting Hispanic evangelical communities. āWe have roughly 2,000 active synagogues in America. There are 42,000 active Hispanic evangelical churches,ā Greenblatt told the audience. āRight now, the ADL is co-writing Sunday school curriculum with them. Right now, the ADL is working on joint lobby days with them.ā
The 42,000 churches versus 2,000 synagogues comparison highlights ADLās recognition that Jewish communal infrastructure alone cannot address rising antisemitism. By creating sermon guides and prayer materials, ADL is embedding antisemitism education directly into Christian worship and religious formation.
