Has anyone saw the movie, “ The substance”? Same old Hollywood weirdness. Demi Moore is an aging star, so of course in Hollywood she’s no longer needed. They are looking for a younger and hotter girl to replace her. A bunch of old white men are evil, of course.
Well she ends up being given this substance by a random person and it causes her to split into a younger hot girl. Filled with tons of gore, of course. Also the younger version is played by Margaret Qualley, someone they are shoving in our faces recently and is obviously a bought and paid for puppet. Oh yah there is a few one eye signs as well.
I’d be curious what Vigi would say about this movie. Anyone else seen it?
I’ve not watched yet but I do plan to. I’ve only studied clips/images and read others analysis of it.
I do agree that its adrenochrome they’re alluding to in the movie and its not the only movie it’s been alluded to in,I Believe death becomes her is another one. there’s also alot of hidden symbolism within as well
would We be able to change this thread to the adrenochrome discussion by changing the title to the substance/adrenochrome

Wonder why they portrayed the extremities coming out the head specifically. Celine Dion possibly had adrenochrome side effects. She blames the ‘stiff person syndrome’. However, French television had this guy speaking about Celine taking adrenochrome. Someone else pointed out similarities between her professed disease and ‘kuru’ which is a known disease for cannibals in Papua New Guinea.
Look at Ellen, Kathy Griffin, Tom Hanks, and many others who have physically changed from looking ‘normal’ to a hideous, decrepit version of themselves. Truly frightening, evil stuff.
