They are all employees of the oldest job in the world. But now more than ever, since there is little to no money in entertainment.
Streams generate pennies. These albums they sell all go the paying off the massive debts the company saddles them with when they join as children. If they want to eat, they need to do the stroll.
The thing that makes this sick, is that they are groomed for this. They enter as children and are molded into the perfect “toys” to do these xes rituals in exchange for a little change.
They own nothing. The buildings, their bodies, etc. Everything belongs to the overlords who don’t want them to gain independence. The only real payment they get is the illusion of freedom.
