Turns out not many are prepared to pay the price for Greater Israel. Personally, i don’t believe the poll numbers everyone is citing that 94% approve of the Iran bombing campaign. Similar approval rating cited for the Gaza war….because the poll numbers can be manufactured to generate consent. If the poll is accurate, then as a population, you have to have some special kind of blood lust to desire a permanent war footing.

94% does seem overly high especially when taking into account that thousands were demonstrating previously against netanyahu and the Gaza genocide. Although such is the extremism in Israeli society those numbers were way, way down on the numbers who demonstated against the Sabra and Shatila massacre Sabra & Shatila demo
I read last week or the week before that those in favour of the war was polling 73% which was probably about right. I suspect though that the numbers have subsequently dropped when they realised that they aren’t as invincible or brave as they thought and with hezbollah still being a force to be reckoned with, including reports of entity commandos being chased back over the border from Lebanon, they had a change of heart (assuming they have hearts). But that’s always the way of the bully when they realise there’s someone willing and able to hit back.

Post-9/11, i reserve a great deal of skepticism for poll results that favor an Establishment narrative (i can’t speak to the Israeli situation). A bogus poll in the run up to the invasion of Afghanistan or Iraq was more believable then than it would be now, especially when people have woken up to the Israel question.
The survey find in the DropSite link is much more believable than what was floated after Operation Midnight Hammer (82% iirc). It’s a hard sell for me to believe that millions who voted for no more wars would turn around in 6-12months and approve of the president’s useless adventurism…even as many are fully cognizant of how consequential a war with Iran would be.

Israel has never been content to decide its own borders, and now openly threatens the region. Perhaps there is hubris, even showmanship, in Israel’s desire to expand the state into a Zionist empire.

I was really glad to have found the christianchat site.
I haven’t posted a lot yet. Fortunately I have like minded Christian friends that are former military and I’m getting real information from them. Scary what Israel and the US have unleashed. So many Americans have no idea what’s coming and how bad this is going to get. I’m greatly disheartened.
Many of the posters are on the Revolution in Iran link are pro Israel but there are 2 that are not and give great information. Also there are wonderful other threads as a Christian I love to read.

A sobering reminder of the plan for WW3, contained in the 1871 letter from Albert Pike’s to Giuseppe Mazzini:

“Political Zionism” very obviously includes oxymoronic “Christian Zionism”, which is front-and-center governing policy in the U.S. Department of War.
