As an avid reader of VC since 2016, I know there’s always a holiday message on the site. I created this thread for each of us to post our holiday messages and also share our insights on 2025 and our expectations and wishes for 2026. I’m sure it will be an enriching exchange.

Hello VCers,
With each passing day, the news cycle seems to push constant reminders of how far the world is drifting from what God intended, with corruption, disorder, and moral confusion becoming a daily routine. It’s easy for us to fixate on these patterns, to analyze them until they overshadow the good that still exists. Once you recognize what’s happening, it becomes difficult to look away to appreciate the smaller, simpler moments that make life meaningful.
But remembering that Gods justice stands at the end of all things changes how we move through the present. As we head toward 2026, I hope that we pursue our goals with intention and clarity, rather than fear and despair. Remaining informed, but not allowing the world’s darkness to take away from our ability to recognize what’s still worth valuing. Maintaining a childlike sense of wonder, choosing to see what’s still good while it’s here.
A lot of us feel a responsibility to wake up the people around us, only to realize that most aren’t interested in the deeper, more complex and spiritual layers of what’s unfolding. It’s human variance, and all of us have different roles and purposes. Maybe you’ve been given a gift of spiritual discernment, or a passion for understanding these patterns, and for quietly looking after your loved ones even if they don’t fully see what you do. Ultimately, what matters isn’t whether someone understands every nuance of current events, but the sincerity of their faith and orientation of their heart toward Jesus as lord and savior. The rest unfolds under God’s timing, not ours. Our role is to stay steady, patient, grounded, and committed to acting from a place of love rather than anxiety.
And thank you all. I’m grateful to have found a community of people who see the world through a similar lens. It’s been harder to find IRL, and it makes navigating the chaos far more manageable

Intend to improve upon yourself as a believer [in The Almighty Whose Existence is quite clearly and logically Apparent].

Never had this feeling before at every New Year’s Eve but i felt like i wanted to stay a little longer in 2025….it honestly felt like we were making a very premature exit.
