1 Corinthians 11:3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman [is] the man; and the head of Christ [is] God.
John 20:17 Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and [to] my God, and your God.
Christ has the same God that we do: Father (The Most High).
I worship Nurse Chapel in Star Trek but that doesn’t mean she’s God..:)…Here she is tending the ailing Spock but he don’t want her, huh there’s bleddy vulcans for you..
You seem to be under the mistaken impression that we’re arguing about something. We’re not.
You can have the same power that Christ has: Father working through you and for you. That is the biggest part of why Christ came here (multiple times): to return us back to spiritual converse with Father.
Father IS God. Christ is Father’s CREATED Son (Father’s Eldest/Firstborn Son). Gabriel, Uriel, Raphael, Raguel, Sarakiel, etc. (all the angels of heaven) are the sons of God too, just as Christ is. They’re just not the firstborn/first-created.
Job 1:6 Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the “I AM”, and Satan came also among them.
Job 2:1 Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the “I AM”, and Satan came also among them to present himself before the “I AM”.
Job 38:7 When the morning star’s inhabitants sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?
God made Christ FIRST. Because Christ is the Firstborn, He is the Anointed One and the Heir Apparent to the Throne. They (Father and Christ) have a REAL, SPIRITUAL Father-Son relationship Anyone who claims differently (e.g. “trinitarians” or those who falsely claim that “Jesus is God”) is denying that Father-Son relationship, choosing instead to replace it with a LIE. Please think about that.
“Let the greatest among you be a servant to all”. Anyone who genuinely wishes to worship Father will worship the Son by DOING as COMMANDED. And what have we been commanded to do?
Father’s Will.
What is Father’s Will? To keep His Perfect Law, and love one another just as Father and His Christ love us.
True worship isn’t going to church, it’s DOING as we’ve been COMMANDED for our individual and collective benefit, to ensure no one is treated unjustly/unfairly.
John 14:15 If ye love me, KEEP my COMMANDments.
People need to revolutionize their way of thinking about worship and about prayer, because neither are what is taught in the various organized religions.
When we pray in the correct way, we are not asking God to do something, God is inspiring us to act in His place to enact His Will on Earth. We are intended to be the emissaries of the Divine on this planet.
True prayer is the method, the visualization, that God expects us to use in discerning His Will and implementing it in the physical dimension twenty-four hours every day. His Kingdom come, His Will be done, on Earth, as it is in Heaven. Amen.
This is the power that each of us can have IF we allow Father to work IN us and THROUGH us, exactly as Christ teaches. And to do that requires clearing out the “self” that blinds us and blocks The Way.
The verses in Matthew that you use show Jesus isn’t God.
When the devil is talking to Jesus, he asks Jesus to worship him(the devil) in exchange for the worldly treasures. Jesus says “No” worship is for God only. Jesus does not say,”I’m not worshipping you Satan because I’m worshipping myself instead.”
Then in Matthew 14 the disciples worship Jesus and say he is the Son of God.
The disciples constantly ask Jesus who he is. Jesus had a lot of interesting answers for them. He is the Son of God, the light, the door. But he never gives the blasphemous answer of “I am God almighty.” Why skirt around that? Don’t you think God would let us know he is the almighty creator if you met him on earth? Whether God was talking through a person or something like a bush?
Every religion in the world believes there was a person named Jesus but only Christianity believes Jesus=God. We could debate who Jesus was exactly though. Perhaps an angel infused in a person? The only other times in the Bible we see the term Son(s) of God is in reference to angels, Enoch and Job I believe. Jesus is/was a very important angel perhaps?
Whoever Jesus was there is no denying his teachings were fantastic, still relevant and important 2,000 years later.
Nice cherry-picked verses out of context. You have failed, Jojo. Entire Biblical passages assert the converse: Jesus is God, and you ignorantly blaspheme.
I worship many women, it’s programmed into my male DNA..
Jesus said:- “…the Creator 'made them male and female, and said, ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’ So they are no longer two, but one.” (Matt 19:4)
Could you tell us why Jesus NEVER made the claim to be God Almighty and why you choose to ignore Jesus’ own words and example of Who to worship and to Whom we should pray?
Matthew 4:10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and Him ONLY shalt thou serve.
Matthew 6:9-10
6:9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be THY name.
6:10 THY Kingdom come. THY Will be done in earth, as [it is] in heaven.
John 6:38-40
6:38 For I came down from heaven, NOT to do mine own will, but the Will of Him that sent me.
6:39 And THIS is the Father’s Will which hath sent me, that of all which He hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the Last Day.
6:40 And THIS is the Will of Him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth him, may have Everlasting Life: and I will raise him up (into the “Cloud”) at the Last Day.
Yep. And how is the Godhead defined in Scripture?
1 Corinthians 11:3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman [is] the man; and the head of Christ [is] God.
John 14:28 Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come [again] unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for MY FATHER IS GREATER THAN I (NOT equal to).
Luke 8:28 When he saw Jesus, he cried out, and fell down before him, and with a loud voice said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, [thou] Son OF God MOST HIGH? I beseech thee, torment me not.
“And again, when He (Father, The Most High) bringeth in the firstbegotten (i.e. FIRST-CREATED: Christ) into the world, He (Father) saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.”
Hebrews 1:6
King of kings’ Bible - John 8:31-35 (KJV John 8:40-44)
8:31 But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the Truth, which I have heard of God: this did NOT Abraham.
8:32 Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, [even] God.
8:33 Jesus said unto them, IF God WERE your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came FROM God; NEITHER CAME I OF MYSELF, but He sent me.
8:34 Why do ye not understand my speech? [even] because ye cannot hear my Word.
Matthew 15:7-9
15:7 [Ye] hypocrites, well did Isaiah prophesy of you, saying,
15:8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with [their] lips; but their heart is FAR from me.
15:9 But in vain they do worship Me, teaching [for] doctrines the commandments of men (man-made rules/legislation).
A human failing which is exactly what caused Adam to fall, and exactly what MUST be reversed to be among the “Elect”.
Genesis 3:17-19
3:17 And unto Adam He said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I COMMANDED thee, saying, Thou shalt NOT eat of it: cursed [is] the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat [of] it all the days of thy life (Eno. 96:12-13);
3:18 Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;
3:19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou [art], and unto dust shalt thou return.
Matthew 6:33 But seek ye FIRST The Kingdom of God, and His Righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Revelation 14:1-4
14:1 And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the Mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty [and] four thousand, having his Father’s name written in their foreheads.
14:2 And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many “waters”, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps:
14:3 And they sung as it were a New Song (Isaiah 42:10) before the Throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that “Song” except the hundred [and] forty [and] four thousand, which were redeemed from the Earth.
14:4 These are they which were not corrupted by women; for they are pure. These are they which follow the Lamb wheresoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, [being] the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb (obeying God NOT women).
What does “not corrupted by women” mean exactly? If all men avoided women, the human race would die out wouldn’t it?
PS- I never married because i never met a woman who was on the same wavelength as me, and I’ve never wanted to be a family man anyway as i’d have felt too confined)
It means STOP idolizing women, which puts them in a position to rule over men.
Genesis 3:16 Unto the woman He said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire [shall be subject] to thy husband, and HE SHALL RULE OVER THEE .
Isaiah 3:12 [As for] My people, children [are] their oppressors, AND WOMEN RULE OVER THEM. O My people, they which lead thee cause [thee] to err, and lead thee astray, TO THY DESTRUCTION.
Yes, a friend of mine got married some years ago and when he visited me he kept sneaking looks at his watch every 5 minutes, so i asked him why and he said something like “She told me to be back home at such-and-such a time and i’d better not be late or i’ll be in big trouble”
And exactly the same thing happened when a newly-married christian evangelist friend visited me, we were strolling through town and he kept looking at his watch “I’ve got to be back with her at teatime” he explained.
No wonder Paul said-“A married man is concerned about the affairs of this world—how he can please his wife—and his interests are divided. “(1 Corinthians 7:33)
“Do not look for a wife. But if you do marry, you have not sinned…But those who marry will face many troubles in this life, and I want to spare you this.”(1 Cor 7:26-28)
“To the unmarried and the widows I say that it is good for them to remain single, as I am.” (1 Cor 7:8)
However, he had nothing against sensible women- “I commend to you our sister Phoebe, a servant of the church in Cenchrea..she has been a great help to many people, including me..
Greet Priscilla , my fellow worker in Christ Jesus, she risked her life for me.
Greet Mary, who worked very hard for you..
Greet Tryphena and Tryphosa and Persis, those women who work hard in the Lord.
Greet Rufus, chosen in the Lord, and his mother, who has been a mother to me, too.
Greet Julia..” (Romans ch 16)
No one should have anything against women, nor treat those souls incarnated inside female bodies with anything but love and respect.
But they MUST NOT be leaders and teachers, or idolized, for what are hopefully obvious reasons. That’s why all of God’s Prophets were in male bodies as were all of Jesus’ Disciples.
What kind of a mind does it take to realize that a baby that has come into this world through a womb (and grown thereafter pretty much like everybody else generally speaking) can never ever be considered to be The Deity Who Always Was, Who Never dies, and Who Always Will Be, and Who Is Not subject to change as this material plane and its many diverse inhabitants are!
And despite not Being subject to any form of change whatsoever, He Remains The Reason why every good thing remains constantly enjoyable and worth our hard work.
So how much Better Is His Countenance to behold more than any other thing and person truly!
Every thing is forgo-able, in my perception, except for faith alone and its components.
