Creepy Runway Show

Came across this on Reddit, posted in a Fashion group. This is Maison Margiela’s runway show for a 2026 clothing line. I’m not a fashion person and that designer’s name means nothing to me, but the thumbnail caught my eye so I looked at the full post. It’s so bizarre and creepy, I had to share here to see what others think. A few thoughts:

  1. Obviously, the strange mouth piece thing creating that creepy expression. It’s totally off-putting and I have no idea why that would be part of a fashion show?

  2. The musicians in the background appear to all be children.

  3. I did not include all of the photos, but for several of the “looks” I could not tell for sure if the model was a man or woman, at least at first look. There was a gender neutrality that seemed to be highlighted.

I saw that some of the models have black bars over their eyes as well, like this one:

The black bars and mouth priers could represent control, silencing or submission.

Instead of high fashion promoting identity, self expression and individuality, you get vulnerability and loss of autonomy.

Yep - creepy as fuck and ya gotta worry about those kids - that insatiable need for adrenachrome knows no bounds.

Strange. The look of the overall collection is fairly normal and ready to wear, but then the designer chose to pair them with those ugly mouth pieces. They look like something a dentist might use to make impressions of a teeth. Honestly it gives the models the overall appearance of a blow up doll. Also, I hate that they are constantly including children at these high end fashion events. It is such a dark and perverse world, they have no business being there. Not even performing

Fashion shows, for one, serve as tools of shaping the culture and its trends. The mouthpieces had a role of invoking ‘uniformity of expression’ according to designers. However, I wonder, if this show somehow conditions people to accepting foreign objects in our bodies. It breaks mental barriers for all the rather aggressive biocomputing being universally accepted. The first time I saw a guy with a camera on a long rod sticking out his head, it was revolting to me. The more people is exposed to this weirdness, the more acceptable it becomes. There will be no issue with injecting implants or whatever technology Satan pushes on people. It is like paving the road for upcoming merger of AI with human body. How otherwise can they get this biohacking invasion ahead? And these plans are seriously underway looking at 2045 human avatar and reading about high - and Satanic really - hopes for digital human immortality.

I did look up the video for this show. The beginning was interesting as all children came out wearing oversized black clothes, sat down in all white surroundings, and played rather inharmoniously. I wonder, if this was a bow towards the masonic thought: ‘order out of chaos’ + white/black contrast representing duality of things. Also, the children are somehow exposed to this crap as they are in the safe space and in important roles. Will they associate mouthpieces as something invasive in the future? Gender issue is also much less controversial for a young brain. I think it is harming children to be exposed to this as they are in the formative years. Their worldviews are being formed.
