No I havent played in 25 years and only played it for like a month but I guess I could figure it out but I wouldn’t be much of an opponent.

It’s like two armies with two rows of fighters each, counting the two queens and kings respectively…
The front rows of both opponents are lined with soldiers also often referred to as pawns that can move only forward one step at a time after the first move.
The first move is where they can choose one of them soldiers to move either two steps or one step but only for one of them among the 8 front-line soldiers…

So the line up is like

********
The two rows above would be the light camp with eight asterisked pawns on the front line, that is, the line just above this sentence.
They are separated by six empty rows I believe with an equal opposing side, dark camp, with an equal amount of 8 soldiers and 2 rooks, 2 knights, 2 bishops that surround the king and the queen who are at the middle of the back row.

Now, I would have gladly copied and pasted your move and updated it on paint but this personal computer is in need of a Random Access Memory stick cartridge upgrade or something as it’s not responsive enough. It just keeps on freezing every now and then I have to wait for it to unfreeze. 
Regardless, my white bishop can now take out your now open pawn since I just moved my right pawn at E to 3.
