it all depends if the Children/Peoples are born into generational families,they’re in it at birth they dont get a choice
there are some who are discovered, if they have enough influence and are somewhat talented or a good enough actor to pretend. they will be slowly leveled up in the club and given even more status specially in music
as long as the Peoples can be the image tptb need the rest can be done with other Peoples
its not the day Ya meet they ask “oh by the way we have this secret club”and proceed to tell all the depraved detail to them and ask them to join
its a courtship of sorts,they’ll send Peoples to infiltrate Your life,feel Ya out and start a grooming process to See how far You’re willing to go for what Ya want
then there is the darker side where they send someone to infiltrate to get Ya drugged and drunk,then they will orchestrate a blackmail item that they can now own Ya with
there is also orphans who have no protection they’re taken into the belly of the beast abused,used to help in the grooming of other Children
then like above sometimes Ya just stumble into it and idk how they would handle the situation.i suppose it would depend how much of the secrets got exposed
