We can bet Trump’s itching to press the nuke button to zap Iran..

The Meme Wars: LEGOs vs. Egos

Iran’s propaganda game is much better than ‘America’s’ because they’re not playing. Iran has actual accomplishments to name and hideous atrocities to blame, whereas ‘America’ has nothing factual to say and hides its dead in shame. These people are not the same.

China, Pakistan put forward five-point proposals for situation in Gulf and Middle East, calling for immediately ceasing hostilities

China and Pakistan put forward five proposals on restoring peace and stability in the Gulf region and the Middle East during talks between Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi and Pakistani Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar in Beijing on Tuesday.

The proposals are immediately ceasing hostilities, initiating peace talks as soon as possible, ensuring the safety of non-military targets, ensuring the safety of navigation, and safeguarding the primacy of the UN Charter.

First, China and Pakistan call for an immediate ceasefire and an end to the fighting, and for all-out efforts to prevent further escalation and spillover of the conflict. Humanitarian relief supplies should be allowed to enter all areas affected by the war, according to Xinhua.

Second, initiating peace talks as soon as possible. The sovereignty, territorial integrity, independence, and security of Iran and the Gulf countries should be respected. Dialogue and diplomacy are the only viable way to resolve conflicts. China and Pakistan support the parties concerned in initiating negotiations, and all sides should commit to resolving disputes by peaceful means. During the talks, parties to the conflict should refrain from the use or threat of force.

Third, ensuring the safety of non-military targets. The principle of protecting civilians in armed conflict must not be violated. China and Pakistan call on all parties to immediately cease attacks against civilians and non-military targets, fully comply with international humanitarian law, and stop attacks on key infrastructure such as energy facilities, desalination plants, power systems, and peaceful nuclear facilities including nuclear power plants.

Fourth, ensuring the safety of navigation. The Strait of Hormuz and its surrounding waters are vital international routes for trade in goods and energy. China and Pakistan call on all parties to ensure the safety of vessels and crews stranded within the Strait, arrange for the safe and prompt passage of civilian and commercial ships, and restore normal navigation in the Strait as soon as possible.

Fifth, safeguarding the primacy of the UN Charter. China and Pakistan advocate practicing genuine multilateralism, jointly promoting a stronger role for the UN, and supporting the conclusion of agreements—based on the purposes and principles of the UN Charter and international law—on establishing a comprehensive peace framework and achieving lasting peace.

Problem with American nuke strikes is that they’d only be useful against concentrations of enemy tanks and troops etc, so they’d be useless against Iranian anti-ship missile launch sites because they’re too widely dispersed for a single nuke to take every one out.

It could be the samsonites that will drop the nukes, maybe on a smallish city in order to get Iran to surrender unconditionally. If that didn’t work then a second nuke on a bigger city…

if Don wants to blast Iran back into the stone age, that’s easy, just knock out all the power stations..
PS- Brit and the US should have done that to Germany in WW2 with precision surgical strikes, but instead opted for the innacurate mass “area bombing” of cities.
PS- to stop the current bombing, all Iran has to do is declare the strait to be open.

The guy on the left was arrested and convicted for illegally selling missiles to Iran during the Reagan Administration. The guy on the right is a Fox News "military analyst” who thinks Iran shouldn’t have missiles. They’re the same guy.

Spoiler. It’s Oliver North

Pentagon drafted plan to seize Iran’s enriched uranium at Trump’s request, report says

The U.S. military has presented President Donald Trump with a plan to seize roughly 1,000 pounds of highly enriched uranium from Iran, The Washington Post reported, citing two officials familiar with the proposal.

The plan involves a complex operation, including flying excavation equipment into Iran and building a dedicated runway to extract the radioactive material by cargo aircraft. Trump was briefed on the proposal within the past week after requesting military options, according to the report.

Officials also outlined significant operational risks tied to the mission. The Wall Street Journal had previously reported the administration was considering such an operation, though Trump’s direct request for a formal plan had not been disclosed.

The White House and Pentagon did not immediately comment.

The aggression against Pasteur Institute of Iran—a century-old pillar of global health & member of International Pasteur Network—is a direct assault on international health security. This violates Geneva Conventions & IHL principles.

Criticism of the government is illegal in the UAE, and it exercises strict control over the flow information out of the country. Photographing, sharing or posting images of sites where missiles or drones have struck is not allowed.

Lana Nusseibeh, the UAE’s minister of state to the EU, previously told the BBC that “the basis of the legislation” was put in place “in order for everyone to feel safe”.

Declining Support for the war in Israel

Source: Aljazeera InsideStory

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu attacked the media in a recorded statement he delivered on the war with Iran, asking ‘to ask the studio dwellers and opposition spokespeople – what happened to you?’ He demanded: ‘During an existential campaign, raise the morale of our side and not the enemy’s – connect to the spirit of the people, to the spirit of courage, to the spirit of victory of our incredible fighters.’

I’ve heard people say that Trump won’t use nukes. I firmly believe that inorder to get an edge over Iran, the US & Israel will at some point be forced to use “exquisite technologies” ….keep in mind this also extends into the realm of psychological warfare (“voice of god” weaponry type stuff)

It seems Trump is throwing a tantrum because the Iranians have closed Hormuz strait and there’s not a thing he can do about it..
Obviously despite his alleged “thousands” of airstrikes,he still can’t find and destroy the Iranian anti-shipping drone and missile launch sites (needles in haystacks).
As for Iranian mines in the strait, he can’t send minesweepers in to clear them because they’d be sitting ducks.
