I’ve accepted that this is our (the world) fate…that the region is going to blow up but i don’t think that it’s going to happen “tomorrow” or on whatever deadline that Trump sets. Maybe this is just me being in denial. I do believe that things will pop off after 4th of July….once we cross the 250yr mark, all hell will break loose.
The WSJ editorial page/board’s leaning are well known. Ofcourse, they were going to crow about a “prophecy” of Jews returning to Israel as the only solution. Funny, i haven’t seen Bibi or anyone else call the Iranian Jews to “come home” since the war began.
I saw the NYT piece and my first thought was “propaganda for the Western audience”. Killing Lebanese Christians will shred any sympathy the Christian Zionist fence-sitters have left for Israel because they won’t be able to rationalize it. It also show how sick Israel’s divide & conquer game is. They just killed a Christian Party official official but we all know that even after “sparing” non-Shia Lebanese, they will eventually kick everyone out.
