Hi everybody and sorry for my absence due to the slow computer I have at home which makes it sometimes difficult to wait for, the startup even!
I remember perusing a book by Rhonda Byrne if I remember correctly entitled The Secret. For those interested, here’s the Youtube Video.
But the real secret to life is what this thread is gonna be about and anybody can contribute whatever they deem fit as advice to guarantee success to everybody in life until our last breaths.
How I believe in Him is through knowledge of the past, knowledge of those whom He Sent as means of guidance for themselves firstly and then for others.
You may understand therefore that whatever this thread’s about, I am the first one who’s really benefiting first of all.
As I recall as words from one of His Scriptures sent through one of His beloved servants, truly the reminder benefits the believer.
The wording of God Belief therefore goes like:
No god but God
No deity other than The Deity
There’s no being worthy of worship save only for Him, who never dies.
Among other variations, this will surely include translations in all the worldly languages too, whether in one way or another…
Believing in The Almighty therefore means loving Him above everything else and to know that all things are from Him and are therefore forgo-able, if need be, for the benefit of other than one’s own self.
Believing in Him means to love others too in that case just as one loves something for one’s own self such as food and any other material possessions, one loves the same for everybody else, so what does it cost to pray silently in one’s heart and mind that everybody be Blessed just the same as one is being Blessed at any point in time and space…
If one can imagine oneself being enabled to count without end, then that in itself is a proof that The Only True One Is Indeed The Creator of every second of time that Has Been Created by Him and Only Him Alone.
So what does a second of time entail?
What does a minute of time entail, and so on and so forth?
Adam and Eve, the first man and woman according to Abrahamic religions, were created by God and placed in the Garden of Eden. They lived in paradise but were banished after being tempted by a serpent to eat of the forbidden fruit from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, leading to the “Fall of Man”.
Creation: God formed Adam from the dust of the ground and breathed life into him. Eve was later created from Adam’s rib to be his companion.
The Command: They were permitted to eat from any tree except the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, with the warning that eating it would bring death.
The Temptation: A serpent deceived Eve, saying she would not die but become wise, leading her to eat the fruit and share it with Adam.
The Consequences:Immediately, they realized they were naked and felt shame. As a consequence of their disobedience, they were expelled from the Garden of Eden.
The Fall: This act brought sin and death into the world. God cursed the serpent, increased Eve’s pain in childbirth, and made Adam’s work laborious.
Life Outside Eden: They became the parents of humanity, with named sons including Cain, Abel, and Seth.
The question therefore is, who are we simpletons if we ever decide to not feel shame?
Feeling ashamed and holding on to clothing is therefore another secret to successful life too!
True story- explorers made contact with a remote Amazon tribe who asked them to explain what “civilisation” meant-
EXPLORER- “It means we have 3 good meals a day”
TRIBESMAN- “So do we”
EXPLORER-" And it means we live in good homes"
TRIBESMAN -“So do we”
EXPLORER- “And it means we’re happy”
TRIBESMAN- “So are we”..
Incidentally, if 99 percent of humans are wiped out by a plague or whatever, it won’t be so bad..
For example In this clip from ‘Survivors’ (1975) this group of survivors have set up in a big country house, there’s no electricity of course, hence the paraffin lamps and acoustic guitar, and they’re having a jolly after-supper singsong; the choice of song is interesting because they know the old world has gone forever and doesn’t matter any more..
