Little optimism in Gaza over second phase of agreement
Palestinians in Gaza City say they are not optimistic about the prospects of the recently announced second phase of the ceasefire agreement, with so many of the promises of the first yet to be fulfilled.
âItâs as if weâre still in the first phase,â said one man. âThe crossings were supposed to open, prices were supposed to fall, and Israeli attacks were supposed to stop. Nothing has changed except we have moved from the south to the north of the Strip.â
The situation in Gaza âremains unchangedâ, said one woman. âLet us seriously complete the first phase properly before announcing the transition to the second.â
Another man said he was ânot optimisticâ as the promises of the first phase had not been fulfilled.
âAid and food didnât arrive, and the ceasefire has not been implemented as required,â he said. âWith the bombing and killing continuing, we canât find shelter or even a tent.â

Indeed. The Gazans are not stupid - though I donât think most of them know that they are, in fact, facing an actual terrorist state with the resources of a global mafia, or more of them would indeed leave and create a diaspora state instead.

Many reasons, but a reason foremost among them was that Hitler idolized General Ludendorff and accepted Ludendorffâs interpretation of the so-called âstab-in-the-back theoryâ which held that Germanyâs defeat in World War I - and its subsequent 20 years of hyperinflation and poverty and suffering caused by war reparations - was caused by betrayals by âJewsâ and âsocialistsâ .
