Overcoming Evil with Good

When I began learning of the organized evil of this world, I was, at first, overwhelmed. Then angry. Then ashamed, because I realized I have participated in this evil at some level. Whether it was believing lies or participating in immorality, I was not without sin before a holy God. I repented and trusted in Jesus. I studied His Word and recognized God wants me to know far more than what evil people are doing and planning. His hand and purposes are more important to grasp, and bring far more strength and comfort.

Paul states in Romans 12:21, “Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.”

Learning about the powers that be and their evil can lead to temptations to become sinfully angry or to despair as if there is no hope. Someone could compare themselves to these wicked rulers and think they are OK with God because their sins are smaller (yet still worthy of hell). Or someone could feel so overwhelmed they go hiding, whether that’s in a video game or in a homestead/bunker. Or someone may want to pick up a weapon and start a revolution. All these are examples of someone being overcome by evil rather than overcoming evil with good.

How do you avoid being overcome by evil? Where are you struggling (I am happy to pray for you)? In what ways do you know you can overcome evil with good instead?

Grateful to be on here again and I look forward to discussions with you all.

Grace and peace.

Remembering Psalm 37

Do not fret because of those who are evil
or be envious of those who do wrong;
2 for like the grass they will soon wither,
like green plants they will soon die away.

3 Trust in the Lord and do good;
dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture.
4 Take delight in the Lord,
and he will give you the desires of your heart.

5 Commit your way to the Lord;
trust in him and he will do this:
6 He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn,
your vindication like the noonday sun.

7 Be still before the Lord
and wait patiently for him;
do not fret when people succeed in their ways,
when they carry out their wicked schemes.

8 Refrain from anger and turn from wrath;
do not fret—it leads only to evil.
9 For those who are evil will be destroyed,
but those who hope in the Lord will inherit the land.

10 A little while, and the wicked will be no more;
though you look for them, they will not be found.
11 But the meek will inherit the land
and enjoy peace and prosperity.

12 The wicked plot against the righteous
and gnash their teeth at them;
13 but the Lord laughs at the wicked,
for he knows their day is coming.

14 The wicked draw the sword
and bend the bow
to bring down the poor and needy,
to slay those whose ways are upright.
15 But their swords will pierce their own hearts,
and their bows will be broken.

16 Better the little that the righteous have
than the wealth of many wicked;
17 for the power of the wicked will be broken,
but the Lord upholds the righteous.

18 The blameless spend their days under the Lord’s care,
and their inheritance will endure forever.
19 In times of disaster they will not wither;
in days of famine they will enjoy plenty.

20 But the wicked will perish:
Though the Lord’s enemies are like the flowers of the field,
they will be consumed, they will go up in smoke.

21 The wicked borrow and do not repay,
but the righteous give generously;
22 those the Lord blesses will inherit the land,
but those he curses will be destroyed.

23 The Lord makes firm the steps
of the one who delights in him;
24 though he may stumble, he will not fall,
for the Lord upholds him with his hand.

25 I was young and now I am old,
yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken
or their children begging bread.
26 They are always generous and lend freely;
their children will be a blessing.[b]

27 Turn from evil and do good;
then you will dwell in the land forever.
28 For the Lord loves the just
and will not forsake his faithful ones.

Wrongdoers will be completely destroyed[c];
the offspring of the wicked will perish.
29 The righteous will inherit the land
and dwell in it forever.

30 The mouths of the righteous utter wisdom,
and their tongues speak what is just.
31 The law of their God is in their hearts;
their feet do not slip.

32 The wicked lie in wait for the righteous,
intent on putting them to death;
33 but the Lord will not leave them in the power of the wicked
or let them be condemned when brought to trial.

34 Hope in the Lord
and keep his way.
He will exalt you to inherit the land;
when the wicked are destroyed, you will see it.

35 I have seen a wicked and ruthless man
flourishing like a luxuriant native tree,
36 but he soon passed away and was no more;
though I looked for him, he could not be found.

37 Consider the blameless, observe the upright;
a future awaits those who seek peace.[d]
38 But all sinners will be destroyed;
there will be no future[e] for the wicked.

39 The salvation of the righteous comes from the Lord;
he is their stronghold in time of trouble.
40 The Lord helps them and delivers them;
he delivers them from the wicked and saves them,
because they take refuge in him.

The Snowball Metaphor: The Great Liquidation of Illusions

"The snowball, being an artificial mass defiant of the Universal Accordance, is destined to shatter; in the end, the ‘ball’ will vanish, leaving only the snow."

Abstract lies—usury, deception, and injustice—coalesce to form a gargantuan volume: a “harvest of snow.” To the onlooker, this rolling mass seems an absolute power, fueled by its sheer density and momentum. Yet, this snowball is but an Abstract Invention, a construct fundamentally hostile to the primordial nature of the cosmos.

The Inevitable Impact at the Journey’s End

When the Snowball (The Artificial System) strikes the unyielding wall of the universe (Muaddele), the fiction disintegrates. It possesses no inner energy; it moves only by a borrowed velocity.

The Shattered “Ball”: These are the usurious systems, the digital ciphers, the clerical castes, and the shrouded fairy tales of “Antartanya.” They are inventions; they cease to exist.

The Remaining “Snow”: This is the Matter (The Tangible), the Moment (The Absolute), and the Human (The Spiritual Essence). The honest components of the universe remain, but they are no longer weaponized into a “ball” by the hands of the few.

The End of Tolerance

The snowball grew by feeding on the “Tolerance Margin” of the honest—by leaching the strength from the shoulders of the righteous. But the mass has become so heavy that no beam, no honest soul, can sustain the weight.

Absolutization: The moment when lies and parasitism cover the entire ground.

The Consequence: When the ground ends, the void begins. The void is the universe’s Mechanism of Liquidation. The ball vanishes; only the scattered snow remains.

Purification: The Return to Essence

The shattering of the snowball is a return to cosmic honesty. When the numbers are erased, Bread remains. When usury is deleted, Labor remains. When the illusions of “Antartanya” fade, the Truth remains.

This process is agonizing because people have objectified themselves as part of the snowball. As the mass shatters, the “Object-Humans” who surrendered their will are shaken to their core. But the Subject—the one who stands not upon the snowball, but upon the Mountain of Accordance—is the possessor of Discernment (Feraset). He merely watches and whispers:

Take heed; you have been warned, and you may consider yourself informed."

:slight_smile: Thanks for this thread! :+1:

Avoid being overcome with evil by praying like a true Muslim (Submitter to The Superior Being), five times a day at their APPOINTED times.

I am struggling because my body is weak so therefore I need your prayers (good sentiments may be enough) so that it may be strengthened in every possible way.

Evil can be overcome except by entertaining a constant relationship with The Almighty Alone more than with anybody/any thing else.

Read, learn, understand, do good to others, be helpful, be well-intentioned.

That’s the handhold that never breaks.

Hope that helps. :slight_smile:

The Thermodynamics of Morality: Good, Evil, and the Theft of Takat

In the scale of Feraset, Good and Evil are not mere social constructs; they are the fundamental laws governing the preservation or destruction of the Universe’s most precious resource: Takat (Mortal Stamina).

1. The Sacrifice of the Subject: What is Good?

Takat(Energy/Stamina) is finite and mortal. Every action (MEY) consumes it; once spent, it dies, leaving behind only a message.

The Altruistic Subject is one who grants their own limited Takat to another without demanding an Abstract (Mücerred) reward—no money, no title, no praise. They spend their life-force to repair someone else’s Accordance (Muaddele) or to transform a “Passive Object” back into an “Active Subject.”

Why is it vital? Because Goodness is the only force that counters the entropy of the universe. By granting your energy to another, you allow them to advance without depleting their own stores. Goodness increases the total sum of “Honest Messages” in existence and extends the lifespan of the Universal Balance.

2. The Theft of Stamina: What is Evil?

Evil is the intentional wastage of another’s mortal Takat through the transmission of a False Message (AHZH). The Sin of the Lie: The Evil Subject tells the tale of “Antartanya.” The victim, believing this false report to be reality, strikes the air with their limited energy, pursuing a phantom goal that does not exist in the MMEM (Real) world.

The Verdict: Evil is not just a crime of character; it is the murder of a life. Because energy dies in every collision, forcing someone to spend their Takat on a lie is to steal the only thing they can never recover. Evil is a deliberate act of cosmic sabotage, throwing the most valuable resource of existence into the void.

3. The Absolute Necessity of Goodness

If the universe were governed only by Evil (the wastage of Takat), the engine of existence would grind to a halt in seconds, reaching a state of Deep Freeze. Goodness—the unconditional granting of stamina—is the “Water of Life” that keeps the gears of the Accordance turning.

The Evil Subject is essentially a fool cutting the branch they sit upon; once they have depleted the Takat of those they exploit, they too will be liquidated by the Universe as a “Passive Object.”

Goodness is to partner with the Honesty of the Universe. Evil is to steal from it.

Consider yourself informed!
