Thanks for bringing this up. My mind was racing and I didn’t consider it in regard to “countries collapsing” so bear with me if I preface with the biblical.
When most people talk about the Mark of the Beast they rarely, if ever, expound on the two crucial events that precede it. An event (specifically, “fire falling from the sky”) that is used “to deceive the inhabitants of the Earth” into forming the Image of the Beast. It is the image that enforces the mark and kills all who refuse to worship it.
That said, since 2020, there’s been chatter in MSM about a climate catastrophe that destroys economies….“A Green Swan Event” (I had a separate thread on the board for this) that various banks have been prepping for. I think there have been tests for this, think the “atmospheric disturbance” that affected the grid in Southern Europe earlier this year or last year’s unusual aurorae. This time, they aren’t going to blame another Lehman Brothers & it’s toxic assets for a collapse. I suspect they are going to spin it as divine retribution for hurting/hating the Jews and a “natural” event gives them plausible deniability. These threats are always lurking in the background…that if you don’t kiss Israel’s ass, misfortune is around the corner. They’ve ramped this up lately as public opinion tilted in disfavor. The most recent example of this is Lindsey Graham….warning that God is going to pull the plug.
