when I was younger

I was all pro choice and the “my body my choice”crap which is exactly what it is crap

I admit back then when I Heard the word abortion.I Knew it was ending the pregnancy but at that time i bought all the talking points

its safe and humane for mother and Child,thats the biggest lie,the Child feels everything and it’s definitely not humane

it has been years now that my boy was talking to me about abortion and We were arguing back and forth.
he was pro life at all costs and I was spouting all them points We’ve been programmed with

then he showed me a video and I Seen what an abortion actually entailed and really was. my heart broke and my stance changed in that instance

I Believe many are just like I was back then. they Hear the word but because of the programming don’t actually Know what it is exactly

if they Seen and really Knew what was happening,they would change their minds.
I mean how could Ya not

I Believe there are exceptions.
such as when the pregnancy will harm or kill the mother to carry full term and deliver and there is no option for section delivery at all

in the case of rape/incest.
when carrying can cause mental harm to the woman that may result in her trying to harm herself or the Child in her stomach

although I would Hope she could carry full term and choose adoption instead,I do understand why that may not be an option

unfortunately in the world today thats not what gets promoted to women

many use it as a first option form of birth control.imHo that option should never have been allowed for anything other than the above exceptions

now a days a woman goes out partying and sleeps with whoever and just dont want a Child for whatever reason is a very poor unacceptable reason to allow the murder of a Child

even when a Child survives an abortion against all the odds its left to die alone in a room. they ignore it til theres no sign of life and thats the key word LIFE,Ya cant have signs of life for something but claim it isn’t alive,right

this happens once a week a Child against all odds are pushed off into a dark room to slowly die alone,that should NOT be allowed

this imHo opinion is connected with adrenochrome,cause the torture and terror of a Child in the womb going through this has to be one of the most immensely terrifying and torturous ways to take a Childs Life

its only images and testimonials I’ve Seen/Heard and it’s unbearable to think of the pain that the poor Child must feel

When my mother became preggers out of wedlock many years ago, it was such a shameful social “crime” in those days that many women in the same boat had abortions to cover up their “guilt”, and most of their relatives, friends and neighbours would probably have said “Oh well it was for the best”, and wouldn’t have minded, but as I was that fetus in question, I might have minded..:slight_smile:

As a matter of interest what does the Bible say about abortion, or doesn’t it mention it at all?

If she’d had the abortion most of her relatives, friends and neighbours would have said “Oh well it was for the best”, and wouldn’t have minded, but as I was the fetus in question, I might have minded. :laughing:

it never mentions the word because Children,every Child is a gift and a lesson in what True unconditional Love is

I do understand in some very rare instances why some women choose it

I couldn’t do it myself no matter the circumstance they were conceived

I would rather give them up for adoption,however I do understand and empathize

the pain,shame and guilt those who Truly needed too feel,is something they alone have to carry through life

I believe that the issue is hookup culture and not abortion. Because women are going to have abortions, but due to the ban in a more unsafe way. I do agree that people think they can sleep with whoever and oops if they get pregnant they can just go to the market and get an abortion, no worries!(that’s how they treat it, almost like plastic surgery “oh i’ll just get a quick filler”) but I believe that it’s a product of hookup culture that has created that idea and has normalized it, and in that case I believe it is wrong. But for me banning abortions or wanting to is a way to control women and their choices/bodies. Because why with other things people don’t get that emotional, negative, and angry about it such as drinking, smoking, partying, drugs, etc. And sometimes you’ll actually get called out for for not agreeing with it, but when it comes to something that only women can go through now it’s something so grave that needs to be banned. Several women have died due to some states banning abortion because of medical issues, people are losing their mothers, wives, sisters, aunts, cousins, etc. And she is still her own person, she’s dying because of the ban. As for people that aren’t able to take care of a child for whatever the reason, if you aren’t in a good mental space, have the money nor support, or don’t have a good home/partner you should have the option. Because you are causing more harm to the actual child that is alive out of the womb pain then the small fetus that hasn’t developed. I haven’t finished reading my bible yet, but even if the bible does say or reference(and the reference is portrayed exactly what it means and not being used when convenient per say) and is a sin, you are still causing more sins to be committed if you do have the child, which again when talking about it as a sin, why doesn’t drinking, smoking, partying, swearing, abuse, etc have that affect on people? In cases of rape or etc, some are more focused on whether she will keep the child or not rather than if she is okay and focused on putting the person in jail. Regardless of the age the women should still have the choice, we can’t ignore the several valid reasons on why abortion should be a choice just because some can’t control their lust or because there’s bad apples in a bunch(in the sense the bad apples are those who view abortion as just going to store). A child shouldn’t raise a child, and a child wouldn’t even know how too. Every women should have a choice, and my issue is that when it comes to women most become entitled to their bodies. POC women have more issues during child birth, if women in medicine don’t get enough attention as it is now especially POC women, (because studies go based off of the white male bodies rather than doing both male and female) imagine how it is for POC women. As for adoption there’s always the risk of them not getting adopted, trauma, homeless, or something negative or bad happens to them.

(I included both positive and negative sites as of course with everything there are both positives and negatives and I won’t use certain sites for the benefit of my take. For me I just wish that the option is there to abort because everyones situation is different).

I do agree that they can put the child up for adoption, and it doesn’t always go south which is awesome, but there’s always a risk of that child falling into the wrong hands. Those who wish for abortion to be banned or for women to not have the choice should adopt to help out the kids that women decided to give up instead of getting an abortion. Regardless I feel as though the option should still be there and not banned because all it does is more harm than good, safety abortion is taken away, but not abortion entirely, which puts women at risk. At the end of the day these are people who are getting hurt(both the mother and child). Someone may be in a good position so certain things are easy to say. I care for every life, regardless if I am related to them or not, they are still human with families and are individuals.

There was a short TV play on Brit TV around 25 years ago which centred on an elderly woman and her middleaged son who lived with her, and I almost switched off with boredom at the small talk chat between them, but the twist in the end was that the son didn’t exist and she was just pretending he did because she’d aborted him when she was a young woman and was now wracked with guilt and loneliness.

My sister gave birth to a boy many years ago (my nephew) but he died soon after in a cot death, he’d have been in his 40’s now and we still remember him fondly and the hole he left in our family.

My brother-in-law never knew his parents, his mother had him out of wedlock in the 1940’s and put him in an orphanage when he was presumably still a baby, beats me why other women don’t do the same thing rather than killing/aborting them.
PS- he never bothered attempting to find her, perhaps he had a grudge because she’d orphanaged him, i dunno.
PS- Brit MP Clare Short put her baby in an orphanage too, but he decided to find her because he bore no grudge-
