The notion of shape-changers - I mean, my entire scientific brain wants to reject that. Currently believed to be entirely impossible. Too many objections around mass, basic chemistry and so forth.
But…humans are pretty far above, say, a lemur, these days.
I theorize the VriI’s relationship to traditional lizard species may be similar.
