Let’s keep in mind that even if this was an unscripted (improvised) line of dialogue, the director, editor, and network all approved for this to be aired on television. It wasn’t reshot (unless they reshot the scene to make it “funnier”), ADRed (where they record new dialogue over the video), or cut entirely. And it’s not like they filmed this scene and just aired it, it has to be approved by multiple layers of people before making it to our screens. Which implies that they saw nothing wrong (or rather that they found a sick sense of humor) with this scene. Take from that what you will.
